To evaluate the clinical value of intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) combined with concurrent chemoradiotherapy in the treatment of recurrent cervical cancer. ⋯ Intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) combined with concurrent chemoradiotherapy is a safe and effective regimen for recurrent cervical cancer, boasting significant clinical efficacy, reduced tumor markers, no significant increase in adverse reactions, and significantly improved three-years and five years survival rate.

To develop and validate a radiomics-based nomogram model which aimed to predict hematoma expansion (HE) in hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage (HICH). ⋯ The radiomic signature based on CT of HICH has high accuracy for predicting HE. The combined prediction model of radiomics and blend sign improves the prediction performance.

To study the effect of Phacoemulsification on Sub Foveal Choroidal Thickness (SFCT) and Central Macular Thickness (CMT) as measured by Swept Source Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). ⋯ Uneventful phacoemulsification surgery does not have any effect on central macular thickness, however there is a significant increase in subfoveal choroidal thickness at three months after surgery.

The requirement to change position whilst under general anaesthesia may expose patients to significant risks. We devised and implemented a concise and comprehensive patient positioning safety tool with the aim of reducing risks and improving patient safety during position changes under anaesthesia.

To investigate the efficacy of metoprolol combined with torasemide in elderly patients with degenerative valvular heart disease (DVHD) and heart failure and its influence on N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) concentrations. ⋯ Metoprolol combined with torasemide has a significant therapeutic effect on DVHD patients with heart failure. This drug combination improved cardiac function, reduced NT-proBNP concentrations and has good safety.
