To evaluate the clinical efficacy of highly agglutinative staphylococcin combined with neoadjuvant chemotherapy on patients with intermediate or advanced oral cancer. ⋯ Highly agglutinative staphylococcin combined with chemotherapy is a safe and effective treatment regimen with definite curative effect for patients with intermediate or advanced oral cancer. With such a regimen, tumor markers are remarkably reduced, immune function can be significantly improved, and adverse reactions will be evidently reduced.

To study the effects of anisodamine-tirofiban combined therapy on cardiac function and serological expression of serum NGF and ESM-1 in patients with acute myocardial infarction treated with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). ⋯ The combined treatment of anisodamine-tirofiban in patients with acute myocardial infarction after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) can recover NGF and ESM-1 related proteins, improve postoperative myocardial perfusion, and accelerate the recovery of cardiac function. It is worth promoting in clinic.

To explore the challenges faced by medical colleges and coping strategies used in implementing accreditation standards by Pakistan Medical Commission during accreditation inspection 2019. ⋯ Main challenges identified were administrative challenges, accreditation challenges and resource challenges. Coping strategies by the medical colleges for these challenges are highlighted. The accreditation body should harmonize the process of accreditation with medical colleges and other stakeholders.

To explore the effect of grouping motivational interviewing on psychological craving of patients with alcohol dependence in the rehabilitation. ⋯ Grouping motivational interviewing can effectively reduce the degree of psychological dependence on alcohol and improve the symptoms of anxiety and depression in patients with alcohol dependence during rehabilitation period.

To investigate the role of asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA) level in predicting intensive care and mortality in patients affected with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). ⋯ The asymmetric dimethylarginine level increases in severe outcomes; hence, it can potentially predict severity in patients with COVID-19.
