This study aimed to examine the pattern of emergency department (ED) visits by Hajj patients and determine the urgency of emergency visits at an advanced healthcare center. ⋯ During Hajj, a significant proportion of patients who visited the ED at the ultimate healthcare facility were discharged within 24 hours, with a higher rate in the morning-afternoon period. Both admitted and discharged cases required equal levels of care. Therefore, an extension in working days at primary care centers and optimization of advanced healthcare facilities during Hajj is currently warranted.

Altered Pattern of the Global Muscle system is presented in literature among individuals with sacroiliac Joint Dysfunctions. However, the pattern of changes in the Latissimus dorsi (LD) and gluteal maximus (GM) among sacroiliac joint dysfunctions (SIJD) is not reported. This study aimed to investigate the changes in the resting muscle thickness of the Latissimusdorsi and gluteal maximus in SIJD. ⋯ The reduced resting muscle thickness showed an altered motor pattern of Deep Muscles of local system and Gross muscles of global system among patients with sacroiliac joint dysfunction.

To determine the frequency and predictors of pulmonary hypertension in patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus in a Pakistani population, presenting at a tertiary care hospital. ⋯ In this study, 23.3% SLE patients showed evidence of PAH and positive statistical significance was found between predictors like Raynaud phenomenon, rheumatoid factor, nephritis and presence of PAH. So it is imperative to detect PAH early and start prompt treatment to achieve better quality of life.

Colorectal serrated polyp is considered as histologically heterogeneous lesions with malignant potential. The aim of the study was to evaluate the endoscopic, clinic and pathologic characteristics of colorectal serrated polyps. ⋯ The overall detection rate of colorectal serrated polyps was relatively low, and it is necessary to discriminate between SSAPs and HPs during endoscopic examination because of the malignant potential.

Spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCD) remains a rare and important cause of coronary artery disease (CAD). The purpose of this study was to describe the clinical and angiographic features in SCD and to evaluate the treatment and long-term prognosis of this condition in China. ⋯ In China, SCD was usually associated with atherosclerosis and predominantly affected male population. SCD often affected RCA and caused a short dissection. In-hospital mortality rate was low regardless of therapeutic strategy. However, a significantly better long-term prognosis was observed in the revascularization compared with conservative therapy.
