Validation of the Chinese Version Community's Self-Efficacy Scale in Community-Dwelling Older Adults.
The original study confirmed that the Japanese version of the community's self-efficacy scale (CSES) may help to promote health policies, practices and interventions in the community. In China, research on the self-efficacy of community's life is in its infancy. The aim of this study was to assess the validity, the reliability and the predictors of the Chinese version CSES in the aging population. ⋯ This is the first study to validate the Chinese version of CSES in older people. Our research confirmed that the Chinese version CSES has good internal consistency, construct validity and test-retest reliability. Meanwhile, patient's confidence in communication with a physician and the patient's educational level were the important predictors of community self-efficacy.

Analysis of Related Factors of Coping Styles in Infertile Patients in Central China.
To investigate the psychosocial factors, including personality characteristics, coping style, social support and alexithymia of infertile patients, and explore the relevant factors regarding the medical coping style choice of infertile patients in central China. ⋯ Considering the association between the coping styles and psychosocial factors, it was recommended to formulate targeted intervention strategies based on these influencing factors to guide patients to adopt positive coping styles and achieve good outcomes.

Patient Preference for Biologic Treatments of Psoriasis in the Chinese Setting.
Assessments of patients' preferences can support in clinical decision-making regarding biologic therapies for psoriasis. Our objective was to investigate patient preference for biologic treatments in patients with psoriasis in China. ⋯ The cost of biologic treatments was found as the most important attribute for Chinese patients with psoriasis. Among efficacy attributes, the probability of achieving PASI100 at 3 months showed most sensitive. These results may be helpful to understand patient preference for biologic treatments used for psoriasis in China.

Determinants of Adherence to Antihypertensives Among Elderly: A Multifactorial Concern.
The aim of the study was to assess the predictors of adherence among elderly on antihypertensives and to examine the difference in adherence among males and females. ⋯ Awareness of factors influencing medication adherence is crucial for health professionals to provide appropriate advice for patients to maintain quality health. The findings of the study highlight the importance of nurses' role towards imparting knowledge on hypertension and emphasizing on the importance of adherence to antihypertensives among elderly.

Qualitative Interviews to Support Development and Cognitive Debriefing of the Adelphi Adherence Questionnaire (ADAQ©): A Patient-Reported Measure of Medication Adherence Developed for Use in a Range of Diseases, Treatment Modalities, and Countries.
The Adelphi Adherence Questionnaire (ADAQ©) is a newly developed generic patient-reported outcome (PRO) assessment of medication adherence. The aim was to assess its content validity by conducting cognitive debriefing (CD) interviews with patients prescribed medication(s) of various treatment modalities in a range of therapy areas. ⋯ Content validity of the ADAQ© was confirmed in demographically and clinically diverse participants. Psychometric properties of the ADAQ© will be explored in future studies.
