Dental Patients' Medical Information Disclosure and Sociodemographic Determinants: A Cross Sectional Study.
To evaluate the patient's willingness to declare their medical history to their dentists against demographic and medical information. ⋯ The population's willingness to reveal their medical information in the dental office is crucial. Though was within acceptable limit but still deficient. Age, education, occupation and marital status have a significant effect on disclosing and awareness. Educating patients and raising their awareness may aid in reducing emergencies, errors, and legal issues in the dental office.

Development of an Electronic Tool to Assess Patient Preferences in Geriatric Polypharmacy (PolyPref).
Medical decision-making in older adults with multiple chronic conditions and polypharmacy should include the individual patient's treatment preferences. We developed and pilot-tested an electronic instrument (PolyPref) to elicit patient preferences in geriatric polypharmacy. ⋯ Preference assessment with PolyPref was feasible in older adults with multiple chronic conditions and polypharmacy, offering a new strategy for the standardized evaluation of patient priorities in geriatric pharmacotherapy.

Adherence to HIV Antiretroviral Therapy Among Pregnant and Breastfeeding Women, Non-Pregnant Women, and Men in Burkina Faso: Nationwide Analysis 2019-2020.
Since the scale-up of antiretroviral therapy (ART) services in Burkina-Faso, achieving an AIDS-free generation depends on optimal ART adherence. However, no data exists on the population group differences on the level of ART adherence in Burkina-Faso. This study analyzes ART adherence among pregnant-and breastfeeding-women, non-pregnant women, and men in Burkina-Faso. ⋯ Findings showed a large difference in ART adherence among pregnant-and breastfeeding-women, non-pregnant women and men and highlight the need for differentiated healthcare delivery according to population while specifically considering addressing the interest in early initiation of treatment and the benefit of support groups meeting.

Objective Nebuliser Adherence Data as "Proof" of Adherence in the Management of Cystic Fibrosis: A Qualitative Interview Study.
Low adherence to medication via nebulisers is linked to poor clinical outcomes for people with Cystic Fibrosis (PWCF). Advances in technology allow electronic monitoring of nebuliser usage and feedback of objective adherence data to PWCF and clinical teams caring for them. CFHealthHub is a new intervention that collects and displays objective adherence data in easy-to-read formats with the aim of improving nebuliser adherence and health. There is little understanding of how objective adherence data is perceived by PWCF and healthcare professionals (HCPs). ⋯ Objective nebuliser adherence data in CFHealthHub can offer proof of adherence to PWCF and HCPs. It is important to use it constructively to facilitate discussions on how to improve adherence.

Trust in the Doctor-Patient Relationship in Chinese Public Hospitals: Evidence for Hope.
Trust is an essential component in a successful health care relationship. Doctor-patient trust involves the subjects of both sides, including the direction of patients' trust in physicians (patients' perception) and physicians' trust in patients (physicians' perception). This study aims to assess the status quo and explore suggestions for improving trust between doctors and patients. ⋯ In spite of recent negative press reports, there remains a high degree of trust between patients and doctors in Beijing. Despite this, one should not be complacent. We need to explore the root cause of the trust between doctors and patients from a deeper perspective to promote better medical services to meet the health needs of patients.
