Determinants of Adherence to Antihypertensives Among Elderly: A Multifactorial Concern.
The aim of the study was to assess the predictors of adherence among elderly on antihypertensives and to examine the difference in adherence among males and females. ⋯ Awareness of factors influencing medication adherence is crucial for health professionals to provide appropriate advice for patients to maintain quality health. The findings of the study highlight the importance of nurses' role towards imparting knowledge on hypertension and emphasizing on the importance of adherence to antihypertensives among elderly.

Adherence to Insulin Therapy Among Children with Type 1 Diabetes: Reliability and Validity of the Arabic Version of the 4-Item Morisky Medication Adherence Scale.
Inadequate adherence to insulin is a major concern, necessitating the use of reliable and valid metrics for assessing adherence. Up to date, there are no Arabic validated tools assessing adherence to insulin therapy among children with type 1 diabetes (T1DM). Thus, the aim of this study is to evaluate the psychometric properties of an Arabic version of the four-item Morisky Green Levine Medication Adherence Scale (MGLS-4) as a self-reported measure of adherence to insulin among a cohort of Egyptian children with T1DM. ⋯ The Arabic version of MGLS-4 showed good reliability and validity as a self-administered tool for assessing adherence to insulin in pediatric patients with T1DM.

Urban-Rural Difference in Treatment Adherence of Chinese Hypertensive Patients.
The aims of this study were to evaluate the treatment adherence and the main factors associated with adherence for Chinese hypertensive patients between urban and rural areas. ⋯ The treatment adherence of Chinese hypertensive patients was low, especially in rural areas. More emphasis should be placed on patients in rural areas. Furthermore, more attention and effective strategies should be designed to address factors affecting treatment adherence in both urban and rural areas. Health programs should focus on education including the importance of taking continuous antihypertensive drugs and low sodium diet.

Beliefs and Barriers to COVID-19 Vaccine Acceptance in Three Countries with Different Human Development Index (HDI) Scores: A Comparative Study.
As vaccination is a cornerstone strategy to prevent the spread of COVID-19, this study assessed and compared beliefs about and barriers to COVID-19 vaccination among the population of three countries with different Human Development Index (HDI) scores: Saudi Arabia (very high), India (medium), and Sudan (low). ⋯ COVID-19 vaccine acceptance was higher in countries with a very high to medium Human Development Index, indicating greater belief in the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines.

Analysis of Related Factors of Coping Styles in Infertile Patients in Central China.
To investigate the psychosocial factors, including personality characteristics, coping style, social support and alexithymia of infertile patients, and explore the relevant factors regarding the medical coping style choice of infertile patients in central China. ⋯ Considering the association between the coping styles and psychosocial factors, it was recommended to formulate targeted intervention strategies based on these influencing factors to guide patients to adopt positive coping styles and achieve good outcomes.
