ReviewThe Outcome of Salt Treatment for Umbilical Granuloma: A Systematic Review.
An umbilical granuloma is one of the common umbilical masses in young children which appears after the cords fall off, mainly due to an inflammatory reaction to subclinical infections. Though there are different recommendations of treatment modalities, which management modality is the best is not clear yet. ⋯ Cooking salt treatment for umbilical granuloma is effective, cheap, available, and easy to apply by non-health professionals. No side effects have been reported yet and a recurrence of the granuloma after treatment seems to be null.

ReviewCompliance with Primary Malaria Chemoprophylaxis: Is Weekly Prophylaxis Better Than Daily Prophylaxis?
Chemoprophylaxis is an effective tool for individuals to minimize their risk of contracting malaria and serves an important public health role in preventing imported malaria. Yet, it is only effective if the traveller is fully compliant with the prescribed regimen. For many destinations, a choice of prophylactic agents is available, so historical compliance data can be helpful for both physicians and travellers to make an informed decision. ⋯ Malaria chemoprophylaxis for a traveler should depend on prevailing resistance patterns at destination, current national guidelines, and patient preferences. However, when there is a choice, historical compliance data are useful to select a regimen that the traveler is more likely to comply with.

Exit-Knowledge About Dispensed Medications and Associated Factors Among Ambulatory Patients Attending Ayder Comprehensive Specialized Hospital, Mekelle, Ethiopia.
Optimizing exit-knowledge of ambulatory patients is a major professional responsibility of pharmacists to reassure safe and cost-effective medicines use. The study assessed the exit-knowledge of ambulatory patients on their dispensed medications and associated factors. ⋯ The majority of patients had sufficient exit-knowledge of their dispensed medications. Martially single, neutral clarity of pharmacist's instructions and adequacy of the information delivered by the pharmacist were positively associated with participants' exit-knowledge of their dispensed medications. Hence, conducting a multicenter study, we recommend pharmacists to counsel their patients to underpin patients' knowledge of their dispensed medications.

Patient Reported Ease-of-Use with a Disposable Autoinjector in Individuals with Migraine.
Erenumab-aooe (erenumab, Aimovig®)-a fully human monoclonal antibody that inhibits the calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) receptor-is approved for the prevention of migraine in adults in a number of countries. The approved monthly dosage of erenumab (70 and/or 140 mg, depending on the country) is available as a single, prefilled autoinjector for subcutaneous administration in most countries where it is approved. This study evaluated the patient-reported ease-of-use, ability to learn self-injection, confidence in performing a simulated self-injection, and ergonomics of a prefilled autoinjector device for erenumab (SureClick® autoinjector) in individuals in the US with migraine. ⋯ The erenumab-prefilled disposable autoinjector was consistently highly rated across categories by individuals with migraine, with an average rating of >4.5 on the 5-point Likert scale; results were consistent across the three study centers.

Chinese Hospitalized Cardiovascular Patients' Attitudes Towards Self-Management: A Qualitative Study.
This study is aiming to investigate cardiovascular patients' attitudes towards self-management during hospitalization in China. ⋯ This study revealed the hospitalized cardiovascular patients' attitudes towards self-management in China. These findings emphasized the importance of patients' responsibility, reflections, and various social support receiving and pointed out specific external factors influencing the health outcomes and their quality of life. This study also proves the guide for the policymakers and health system better instructions to develop individually and culturally tailored advanced self-management interventions and programs.
