The study aims to profile the dual-specificity phosphatases (DUSP) expression in response to Transforming growth factor β1 (TGFβ1)-induced epithelial- mesenchymal transition (EMT) in ovarian adenocarcinoma cells. ⋯ TGFβ1 induced EMT which was accompanied by increased activity of MAPKs, and led to marked changes in expressions of several DUSPs in SKOV3 cells.

Granulomatous mastitis (GM) is a rare inflammatory disease of the breast. Tuberculosis mastitis (TM), one of the causes of GM, is a rare form of extrapulmonary tuberculosis. The clinical, radiological, and histopathological findings of TM and GM are similar, and sometimes it is difficult to make a distinction between these disease states. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the clinical and radiological features, diagnostic techniques, treatment modalities and treatment outcomes of the patients with GM and TM. ⋯ The etiological diagnosis of GM must be based on a multidisciplinary approach. Tuberculosis mastitis should become a part of differential diagnosis of breast diseases in populations with high incidence of tuberculosis.

Texture analysis (TA) provides additional tissue heterogeneity data that may assist in differentiating peripheral zone(PZ) lesions in multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (mpMRI). This study investigates the role of magnetic resonance imaging texture analysis (MRTA) in detecting clinically significant prostate cancer (csPCa) in the PZ. ⋯ MRTA is useful in differentiating csPCa from other lesions in the PZ. Consequently, the first-order multivariate regressionmodel based on ADC maps had the highest diagnostic performance in differentiating csPCa.

Pectoralis muscle index might be a factor associated with frailty in older women with breast cancer.
To investigate the possible relationship between pectoralis muscle (PM) measurement and frailty in older women with breast cancer (BC) (preoperatively defined as stage 1, 2, and 3 diseases). ⋯ In the study, it has been shown that pectoralis muscle assessment might be a related parameter to frailty in older women with breast cancer.

IgG4- related disease (IgG4- RD) is a systemic fibroinflammatory disease whose pathogenesis has not been completely elucidated. Due to the novelty and complexity of the diagnostic criteria, it is difficult to distinguish from the diseases included in the differential diagnosis without tissue biopsy. This study aimed to discover new biomarkers that can help for disease diagnosis and its differential diagnosis by reviewing the relationships between neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet lymphocyte ratio (PLR), systemic immune-inflammation index (SII), and systemic inflammation response index (SIRI). ⋯ This is the first study to review the SII, SIRI, NLR, and PLR in IgG4-RD. The obtained results suggest that the SII could beused as a new tool, for differential diagnosis and activity of the IgG4-RD.
