Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a chronic systemic disease characterized by vascular damage, autoimmunity, and fibrosis in the skin and internal organs. In this study, we tried to determine the causes of severe infection in patients with SSc and to reveal the factors associated with severe infection. ⋯ The presence of digital ulcer and cardiac involvement seem to be associated with a severe infection in patients with systemic sclerosis. In patients with cardiac involvement and digital ulcers, more careful attention may be required for the development of severe infections.

Leukoaraiosis produces white matter lesions (WML) similar to multiple sclerosis (MS) on brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and the distinction between these two conditions is difficult radiologically. This study aimed to investigate the role of the central vein sign (CVS) in susceptibility-weighted imaging (SWI) sequence in distinguishing MS lesions from leukoaraiosis lesions in Turkish population. ⋯ The presence of CVS in the SWI sequence can be used as an auxiliary finding for the diagnosis of MS in the differentiation of MS and leukoaraiosis lesions.

Evaluation of metabolic changes in FDG PET/CT imaging after mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccination.
It isimportant to evaluate the vaccine-related metabolic changes on FDG PET/CT to avoid confusing results. We here aimed to assess the frequency and intensity of regional and systemic metabolic PET/CT changes of patients who received the mRNAbased COVID-19 vaccine (BNT162b2-Pfizer/BioNTech) and to analyze possible factors affecting these changes. ⋯ Regional and systemic metabolic changes were occasionally found on FDG PET/CT imaging in patients who received the mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccine. To avoid these timely decreasing changes, we recommend managing the ideal timing of imaging or vaccination and taking a careful history.

Data on antibody response following COVID-19 in kidney transplant recipients is scarce. This crosssectional study aims to investigate the antibody response to COVID-19 among kidney transplant recipients. ⋯ At the early post-COVID-19 period, kidney transplant recipients have a similar antibody response to controls. However, these patients' antibody levels and immunity should be closely monitored in the long term.

We investigated the diagnostic values and artifact severities of 3D-T1W sequences in the diagnosis of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leakage. ⋯ 3D-SPACE and 3D-VIBE are more successful in evaluating CSF leakages compared to 3D-MPRAGE. 3D-SPACE has lower artifact scores compared to 3D-VIBE and 3D-MPRAGE sequences.
