Subcutaneous ofatumumab in patients with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis: The MIRROR study.
To assess dose-response effects of the anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody ofatumumab on efficacy and safety outcomes in a phase 2b double-blind study of relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (RMS). ⋯ This study provides Class I evidence that for patients with RMS, ofatumumab decreases the number of new MRI gadolinium-enhancing lesions 12 weeks after treatment initiation.

A multicenter examination and strategic revisions of the Yale Global Tic Severity Scale.
To examine the internal consistency and distribution of the Yale Global Tic Severity Scale (YGTSS) scores to inform modification of the measure. ⋯ The YGTSS exhibits good internal consistency across children and adults. The parallel findings across Motor and Phonic Frequency, Complexity, and Interference dimensions prompted minor revisions to the anchor point description to promote use of the full range of scores in each dimension. Specific minor revisions to the YGTSS Phonic Tic Symptom Checklist were also proposed.

We assessed motor phenomena in syncope and convulsive seizures to aid differential diagnosis and understand the pathophysiologic correlates. ⋯ Jerks and tonic postures were common in syncope, but semiology differed from convulsive seizures. The lack of overlap in the number of jerks suggests that less than 10 indicates syncope and more than 20 a convulsive seizure: the "10/20 rule." Loss of tone strongly favors syncope. The EEG correlates imply that jerks in syncope are likely of cortical origin, whereas tonic postures may result from brainstem disinhibition.

To examine the relationship between high-frequency oscillations (HFOs) and the presence of preoperative seizures, World Health Organization tumor grade, and isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1) mutational status in gliomas. ⋯ HFOs are common in brain tumor-related epilepsy, and HFO rate may be a useful measure of epileptogenicity in gliomas. Our findings further support the notion that IDH1 mutant genotype is more epileptogenic than IDH1 wild-type genotype gliomas.

To identify the white matter correlates of apathy and impulsivity in the major syndromes associated with frontotemporal lobar degeneration, using diffusion-weighted imaging and data from the PiPPIN (Pick's Disease and Progressive Supranuclear Palsy: Prevalence and Incidence) study. We included behavioral and language variants of frontotemporal dementia, corticobasal syndrome, and progressive supranuclear palsy. ⋯ The current study provides evidence of distinct structural network changes in white matter associated with different neurobehavioral components of apathy and impulsivity across the diverse spectrum of syndromes and pathologies associated with frontotemporal lobar degeneration.
