To describe the functional results and treatment of functional dysfunctions after radical prostatectomy for localized prostate cancer. ⋯ Radical prostatectomy is an elaborate and challenging procedure when carcinological risk balances with functional results. Various treatments of postoperative incontinence and dysrections exist. Functional disorders after surgery have to be treated to ameliorate quality of life of patients.

In 2015, Annecy Hospital was the first French hospital to perform non-heartbeating organ donation from a Maastricht category III donor (patient awaiting cardiac arrest after withdrawal of treatment). Non-heartbeating organ donation (NHBD), performed in France since 2006, had initially excluded this category, due to ethical questions concerning end of life and treatment withdrawal, as well as technical specificities linked to this procedure. ⋯ Functional outcomes of kidney grafts from NHBD are now well known in the literature and confirm their benefit for patients, with similar results to those from heartbeating donors (HBD). International experiences concerning specifically Maastricht category III NHBD are encouraging and promising.

[Outpatient pediatric urology in France: A still under developed practice. Results of a survey of the French Section of pediatric Urology (SFUP)].
Outpatient surgery is a very well adapted practice to the pediatric population. Our goal was to evaluate its actual development in the field of the pediatric urology. ⋯ This survey demonstrated very heterogeneous practices among French pediatric urologic centers. According to the French guidelines about outpatient pediatric surgery, this type of care could be more developed if anesthesiologists and surgeons accepted to evolve in their practice.
