Review[Organisation of anaesthesia management in obstetrics: normative legal documents of the American Society of Anesthesiologists].
A review highlights the fundamental positions of providing the anaesthesia care in delivery. Features of neuroaxial blocks in labour and surgical delivery are considered and the conditions of safe anesthesia care for both mother and foetus are estimated.

Review[Complications of endoscopic video-assisted surgical interventions in gynaecology].
An analysis of specific complications in gynaecological endovideosurgery has been conducted, such as occurrence of extra-abdominal gas after laparoscopic surgery or resorption of the irrigation solution in hysteroscopy. Possible mechanisms of subcutaneous emphysema, pneumothorax, mediastinal emphysema and hyperhydration development are presented along with discussion of diagnosing and treatment methods.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Concentration of 8-isoprostaglandin F2alpha depending on type of anesthesia in laparoscopic surgery in gynecology].
The article represents a randomized comparative study including 100 patients from 21 to 34 years old who has underwent a laparoscopic surgery in V. I. ⋯ Assessment of the serum 8-isoprostaglandin F2alpha before the surgery and 2 hours after the end of surgery has shown the increase of this oxidative stress marker in the early post-surgery period. However, in spinal anaesthesia group, the increase was significantly lower, indicating a more physiological nature of this method of anaesthesia.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Patient-controlled postoperative analgesia in obstetrics and gynaecology].
A prospective study researches features of patient-controlled epidural analgesia (PCEA) in 42 women after cesarean section, mid- and high-traumatic gynaecological surgery. It was found out that the quality of while using the PCEA is significantly better than while using a traditional parenteral infusion of analgesics. ⋯ Compared to continuous epidural infusion of analgesics and anaesthetics, use of PCME returns the expenses better due to less consumption of the drugs up to 35% during the first 24 hours after the surgery. This method is suitable for continuous estimation of the pain therapy.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Optimization of the neuroautonomic inhibition and regulation of hemodynamics during subarachnoid anesthesia in abdominal delivery].
Pregnancy is considered in the spotlight of creation of general adaptation syndrome. It was revealed that 85% and 58% of healthy non-pregnant women had an inadequate autonomous nervous system (ANS) and circulatory system response respectively. This favoured the labour activity malfunction in 20% of women in childbirth when an abdominal delivery was needed. ⋯ Vagosympathetic block has been accompanied by sympathotonia with a lesser BP decrease compared to control group, absence of bradycardia, nausea and vomiting. Thus the BP can not serve as a criterion of the perfusion of essential organs, including uteroplacental haemodynamics, especially non-invasibe BP. Including the control of ANS tone dynamics, central haemodynamics and oxygen transport into monitoring guidelines in neuroaxial anaesthesia in abdominal delivery is necessary.
