To investigate the clinical application and efficacy of lumbar vertebral canal expansion with preservation of posterior ligaments complex, and to study its biomechanical properties. ⋯ The lumbar vertebral canal expansion with preservation of posterior ligaments complex is conducive to maintaining the stability of lumbar spine and have good clinical outcomes.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study[Instability of lower lumbar treated with posterior lumbar interbody fusion with autologous iliac crest or interbody fusion cage: a comparative study].
To compare the curative effect of posterior lumbar interbody fusion with autologous iliac crest to that of interbody fusion cage for adult instability of lower lumbar. ⋯ There is no significant difference between the two groups in the fusion time, the fusion rate and the clinical symptoms alleviation, indicating autologous iliac crest is applicable to interbody fusion for the treatment of adult instability of lower lumbar and good therapeutic effect can be achieved with no immunoreaction and lower cost.

Comparative Study[Comparison between volar and dorsal plate positions in the treatment of unstable fracture of distal radius].
To compare the differences between volar and dorsal plate positions in the treatment of unstable fracture of distal radius. ⋯ The volar and dorsal plate positions may offer effective stability for unstable distal radial fracture and early functional exercise. The volar plate position may influence the pronation function of the wrist joint in the short run, while the dorsal plate position may cause more complications in the long run.

[Modified posterior-anterior operation for treatment of serious lumbar fracture and dislocation].
To evaluate the clinical outcomes of modified posterior-anterior operation in the treatment of serious lumbar fracture and dislocation. ⋯ Reduction of posterior spatium intermuscular approach combined with modified anterior operation in the treatment of serious lumbar fracture and dislocation could complete the reduction, decompression, grafting and internal fixation in one stage, and protect the paraspinal soft tissue and minimize the trauma caused by surgery. It has the merits of short time of operation, small amount of intraoperative hemorrhage, solid union of internal fixation and satisfactory clinical outcome.

[Classification of atlas pedicles and methodological study of pedicle screw fixation].
To investigate the classification of atlas pedicles and the methods of the pedicle screw fixation. ⋯ On the left side, L1 was (5.79 +/- 1.24) mm, L2 (4.55 +/- 1.29) mm, L3 (5.12 +/- 1.06) mm, L4 (12.43 +/- 1.01) mm, L5 (12.66 +/- 1.37) mm, L6 (7.86 +/- 0.77) mm, and H1 (4.11 +/- 1.25) mm. On the right side, L1 was (5.81 +/- 1.26) mm, L2 (4.49 +/- 1.22) mm, L3 (5.15 +/- 1.05) mm, L4 (12.49 +/- 0.98) mm, L5 (12.65 +/- 1.38) mm, L6 (7.84 +/- 0.78) mm, and H1 (4.13 +/- 1.29) mm. There was no significant difference between the two sides (P > 0.05). After simulation of inserting screws, no screw in the specimens was found to break the bone substance in the sulcus of vertebral artery. Conclusion For the pedicle screw fixation of those patients whose atlas posterior arches are not high enough, we might partly drill through or beyond the atlas posterior arch. The entry point should be ascertained by preoperative 3D-CT reconstruction and intra-operative exploration.
