[Modified MRI short time inversion recovery sequence grading system for lumbar intervertebral disc degeneration].
To develop a modified short time inversion recovery (STIR) sequence grading system for lumbar intervertebral disc degeneration based on MRI STIR sequences, and to test the validity and reproducibility of this grading system. ⋯ Disc degeneration can be graded by using modified STIR sequence grading system, which can improve the accuracy of grading different degrees of lumbar intervertebral disc degeneration.

[Short-term effectiveness of nano-hydroxyapatite/polyamide-66 intervertebral cage for lumbar interbody fusion in patients with lower lumbar degenerative diseases].
To evaluate the short-term effectiveness of nano-hydroxyapatite/polyamide-66 (n-HA/PA66) intervertebral cage for lumbar interbody fusion in the patients with lower lumbar degenerative diseases. ⋯ The interbody fusion with n-HA/PA intervertebral cage is effective and safe to treat the lower lumbar degenerative diseases. The n-HA/PA66 intervertebral cage is an ideal device of interbody fusion with high fusion rate, low subsidence rate, and high transmission X-ray, but the long-term effectiveness need further observation.

To evaluate the effectiveness of locking plates for Neer 3- and 4-part proximal humerus fractures. ⋯ The treatment of Neer 3- and 4-part proximal humerus fractures remains challenging. Anatomic reduction, stable fixation, and reduced humeral head blood supply disruption may lead to a satisfactory outcome.

Comparative Study[Application of limited decompression combined with vertebral plate reconstruction on treatment of single segment thoracic vertebra tuberculosis].
To investigate the effectiveness in the treatment of single segment thoracic vertebra tuberculosis by limited decompression combined with epidural absorbable haemostat covering and vertebral plate reconstruction based on one-stage posterior approach, debridement, bone fusion, and internal fixation. ⋯ Compared with conventional operation method, it is an ideal operation method to use limited decompression combined with epidural absorbable haemostat covering and vertebral plate reconstruction based on one-stage posterior approach, debridement, bone fusion, and internal fixation for treatment of single segment thoracic vertebra tuberculosis, with minimal wound, less complications, and good function recovery.
