The eighth edition of Paul Turner and Glyn Volans's popular handbook maintains its familiar format with two main sections. The first lists drugs alphabetically by approved name, each entry accompanied by a brief description of the drugs' action, use and side effects. Guidelines to normal dosage or route of administration are not included.
