[Protective effect of the cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway against hemorrhagic shock in rats].
To investigate the effect of the cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway on hemodynamics in hemorrhaged rats. ⋯ The result suggest that direct electrical stimulation of the vagus nerve and its transmitter can significantly attenuate peak serum TNF-alpha amounts, inhibit the expression of liver NF-KappaB, and prevent the development of hypotension, thus it might produce a potential protective effect on hemorrhaged rats through acetylcholine (Ach) binds NAch receptor alpha 7 subunit which exists in the macrophage.

Comparative Study[Comparison of resuscitation with Parkland formula and with improved protocol on hemodynamics in projectile-burn combined wound in dogs with seawater immersion].
To compare hemodynamic effects of resuscitation with Parkland formula or with the improved protocol on projectile-burn combined wound in dogs with seawater immersion. ⋯ Fluid resuscitation according to the improved protocol is more suitable for projectile-burn combined wound in dogs with seawater immersion than resuscitation with Parkland formula.

[Changes in systemic and local vascular reactivity in hemorrhagic shock and the therapeutic effect of delta opioid receptor antagonist ICI174,864].
To investigate the changes in systemic and local vascular reactivity following hemorrhagic shock of different severity and the therapeutic effect of alpha opioid receptor antagonist ICI174,864. ⋯ Hemorrhagic shock can induce systemic and local vascular hyporeactivity. The decreased vascular reactivity is closely associated with the severity and duration of shock. Loss of systemic vascular reactivity parallels to that of the regional vessel. delta opioid receptor antagonist ICI174,864 has some beneficial effect in improving vascular hyporeactivity.

[Effects of ethyl pyruvate on cell-mediated immune function in rats with delayed resuscitation after burn injury].
To investigate the effects of ethyl pyruvate (EP) on cell-mediated immune function in rats with delayed resuscitation after burn injury, and its potential regulatory mechanism. ⋯ Treatment with EP could markedly elevate splenic T lymphocyte proliferation response and increase production of IL-2 following burn injury, thereby improving cell-mediated immunity in thermally injured rats with delayed resuscitation.

[Propofol reduces intercellular adhesion molecular-1 expression in lung injury following intestinal ischemia/reperfusion in rats].
To investigate the effect of propofol on intercellular adhesion molecular-1 (ICAM-1) expression in the lung tissue following intestinal ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) in rats. ⋯ ICAM-1 plays an important role in lung injury after intestinal I/R. The early treatment of propofol before intestinal I/R may be beneficial by reducing ICAM-1 expression in lung injury.
