Case Reports[Complex regional pain syndrome of the knee: early and beneficial action of diphosphonates on pain and function].
We report the case of a 24-years-old man with parcellar Complex Regional Pain Syndrome I (CRPS I) of the patella, responsible for major functional limitation. The diagnosis was based on physical exam and X-ray, in the absence of other articular or peri-articular diseases. ⋯ He was therefore able to go back to work. The place of this treatment in CRPS I is discussed.

Comparative Study[Comparison between the terminal motor pudendal nerve terminal motor latency, the localization of the perineal neuralgia and the result of infiltrations. Analysis of 53 patients].
The aim is to study the value of the pudendal nerve terminal motor latency (PNTML) testing, in respect to the painful side in patients with pudenda neuralgia, and to determine whether a possible increased latency in the painful side is predictive of a good result with the infiltration. ⋯ The PNTML can be increased whether it corresponds or not to an entrapment of the pudendal nerve. Thus, the management of perineal pain is based mainly, from us, on clinical findings.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study[The role of an information booklet or oral information about back pain in reducing disability and fear-avoidance beliefs among patients with subacute and chronic low back pain. A randomized controlled trial in a rehabilitation unit].
To compare the efficacy of an information booklet or oral information about back pain in reducing disability and fear-avoidance beliefs among patients with subacute and chronic low back pain referred to a rehabilitation department. ⋯ Providing an information booklet about back pain to patients with subacute and chronic low back pain referred to a rehabilitation unit contributes to reduced disability in these patients.

Multicenter Study[Psychobehavioural assessment for chronic low back pain].
Psychobehavioural assessment may be a complementary approach to assess response to treatment for pain and disability in patients with low back pain. ⋯ All the correlation assessments with psychobehaviour factors are weak. So evaluating each of these parameters will be interesting. Duration of pain was not correlated with increasing pain or change in behavioural strategy. Psychobehavioural factors are more invalidating than pain. More study is needed to assess psychobehavioural therapies in patients with low back pain.
