Randomized Controlled Trial[Safety of adjuvant dose-dense chemotherapy with paclitaxel and epirubicin for high-risk breast cancer].
To investigate the safety and tolerance of adjuvant dose-dense chemotherapy with paclitaxel and epirubicin for high-risk breast cancer. ⋯ Adjuvant dose-dense chemotherapy with paclitaxel and epirubicin is safe, tolerable and promising for high-risk breast cancer.

[Effect of ACBP-S on cell cycle and apoptosis in human gastric cancer cells].
To explore the impact of anti-cancer bioactive peptide-S (ACBP-S) on cell proliferation, cell cycle and apoptosis in human stomach cancer cell line MGC-803 cells. ⋯ ACBP-S has marked inhibiting effect upon the growth of MGC-803 cells inducing more apoptosis. The anti-cancer mechanism is probably related with its regulatory effects on cell cycle and apoptosis in the tumor cells.

[Impact of visceral pleural invasion on the prognosis of stage Ib non-small cell lung cancer].
To investigate the impact of visceral pleural invasion (VPI) on prognosis and staging in patients with stage Ib non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). ⋯ A significant difference in survival exists among the stage Ib NSCLC patients who have different T status, the patient with > 3 cm tumor and visceral plural invasion may have the worst prognosis. Further studies are still needed to assess whether it is necessary or not to modify the T2 statue of tumor > 3 cm with visceral plural invasion.

Comparative Study[Impact of neoadjuvant chemotherapy on the survival of patients with stage IIIc and IV epithelial ovarian cancer].
To compare the survival of patients with stage IIc or IV epithelial ovarian cancer treated either with neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) followed by cytoreductive surgery or primary cytoreductive surgery (PCS) followed by adjuvant chemotherapy. ⋯ Neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by cytoreductive surgery can improve the rate of optimal cytoreductive surgery for the patients with stage IIIc or IVepithelial ovarian cancer, but this regimen may neither reduce the recurrent rate nor prolong the survival when compared with the patients treated with primary cytoreductive surgery followed by adjuvant chemotherapy.
