[Intensity modulated radiation therapy for 49 patients with recurrent nasopharyngeal carcinoma].
To evaluate the feasibility, toxicity and tumor control of intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) for recurrent nasopharyngeal carcinoma. ⋯ Intensity modulated radiation therapy, as a re-treatment option for recurrent nasopharyngeal carcinoma, is able to improve the tumor target coverage and spare the adjacent critical structures. As high dose IMRT can result in radio-necrosis of nasopharyngeal mucosa, the prescription dose of GTV should be suitably decreased to 60 - 65 Gy.

[Antisense oligodeoxynucleotides of human telomerase reverse transcriptase inhibit endometrial carcinoma cell HEC-1A proliferation].
To evaluate antisense technology for human telomerase inhibition in the treatment of endometrial cancer. ⋯ Antisense oligodeoxynucleotides of human telomerase transcriptase definitely inhibits the proliferation of endometrial cancer cell line. Telomerase inhibitor may thus become a new gene therapeutic agent for endometrial carcinoma.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study Clinical Trial[Nausea disintegrating buccal tablet in the prevention of gastrointestinal reaction induced by anticancer drugs].
To evaluate the efficacy and safety of nausea oral, disintegrating buccal tablet (DBT) in the prevention of gastrointestinal reaction induced by anticancer drugs (cisplatin DDP 30 - 50 mg/m(2) or adramycin ADM >/= 40 mg/m(2)), as compared with those of kytril tablets. ⋯ Nausea disintegrating buccal tablet is able to effectively prevent gastrointestinal reaction induced by anticancer drugs, with efficacy and side effects similar to kytril tablets. Nausea DB tablet, an intraoral disintegrator, is very convenient for patients who can not swallow tablets for various reasons.

[Clinico-pathological study of 98 patients with pulmonary solitary nodule].
To arrive at correct diagnosis of pulmonary solitary nodule by clinical manifestation and chest CT scan. ⋯ Screening of high risk population is useful in finding early lung cancer. Pulmonary solitary nodule can be correctly diagnosed chiefly by referring to the clinical manifestations and characteristics of chest CT scans. Nodules less than 1cm across are difficult to diagnose and, therefore, exploration is indicated.

Clinical Trial[Postmastectomy radiotherapy for early breast cancer].
To investigate the value of postmastectomy radiotherapy for early breast cancer. ⋯ Post-mastectomy radiotherapy is able to significantly decrease the locoregional recurrence and improve the survival of patients with four or more positive axillary nodes. We suggest that postmastectomy radiotherapy be given as routine for these patients.
