[Plastic surgical management of large cicatricial scalp alopecia].
To investigate the proper ways to manage a large cicatricial scalp alopecia. ⋯ Either hair grafting or tissue expansion is proven as a safe and effective technique for restoration of large cicatricial scalp alopecia. The former technique could be of benefits to simple, mini-surgical procedure, natural hair growth and good for lesion size under 30%. And the letter technique shows wider clinical indications, especially for the patients with unstable scar, skull defect under lesion and lesion over 50%. But the obvious drawbacks are multi-clinic visiting, disfigurement and long-term procedures.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Optimal concentrations of sevoflurane and propofol for laryngeal mask airway insertion in Chinese boys of different ages].
To investigate the optimal concentrations of sevoflurane and propofol for laryngeal mask airway (LMA) insertion in Chinese boys of different ages. ⋯ The ED(50) level of P(ET)-sevoflurane or target effect site concentration with propofol for LMA insertion in Chinese boys decreases gradually along with the increase of age.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Immune and inflammation confusion in severe sepsis and effects of bi-immunomodulation therapy: a prospective, randomized, controlled clinical trial].
To investigate the immune and inflammation confusion state in severe sepsis and the effects of two way immunomodulation therapy with continuous blood purification (CBP), thymosin alpha1, and combined therapy of CBP and thymosin alpha(1). ⋯ Systemic inflammatory response and immunodepression exist simultaneously in severe sepsis. Thymosin alpha(1) increases the cellular immunity, and CBP bi-modulates the immune turbulence, reduces the inflammatory mediators, and ameliorates the immune homeostasis. These 2 therapies also improve the clinical prognosis and the combination of both would be more effective.

[Intraobserver and interobserver reliability of the King, Lenke, and PUMC classification systems for idiopathic scoliosis].
To evaluate the intraobserver and interobserver reliability and main influencing factors of the King, Lenke, and PUMC classification systems for idiopathic scoliosis (IS) using radiographs that had not been premeasured. ⋯ King and PUMC classification systems have higher interobserver and intraobserver reliability than Lenke classification. The reliability levels of the 3 classification systems are all influenced by many factors. Judgment of an upper thoracic curve, variable of Cobb angle measurement, and relationship of the central vertical sagittal line to apex of curve are the common reasons for disagreement in these 3 classifications.

[Assessment of flexibility in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis by curved planar reformation using multi-slice spiral CT scanning].
To investigate the role of curved planar reformation (CPR) using multi-slice spiral CT scanning to evaluate the coronal and sagittal plane in scoliosis so as to affirm the features of supine coronal and sagittal plane in idiopathic scoliosis. ⋯ CPR using multi-slice spiral CT scanning is able to obtain multiple three-dimensional assessment by one scanning and is helpful in scoliosis curve type diagnosis and scoliosis 3D analysis.
