Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study[Effect of the new propofol target controlled infusion system in children undergoing high ligation of hernial sac].
To discuss the effect of the new target controlled infusion (TCI) system in Chinese children undergoing minor operation and compared with TCI system with Marsh parameters. ⋯ Compared with Marsh system, propofol 6 microg/ml plasma concentration with the new target controlled infusion system applied in Chinese children undergoing unilateral high ligation of hernial sac could maintain stable hemodynamics, less stress reaction and complications.

[Primary study of relationship between lumbar degenerative disease and morbidity of primary knee osteoarthritis].
To study the relationship between lumbar degenerative disease and morbidity of primary unilateral knee osteoarthritis. ⋯ The primary unilateral knee osteoarthritis morbidity is correlated with lumbar degenerative disease for the same elder patient. Upper lumbar degenerative disease can induce the incidence and aggravation of primary unilateral knee osteoarthritis; the flexion deformity of primary knee osteoarthritis may cause the aggravation of lower lumbar degenerative disease, even upper lumbar degenerative disease.

Clinical Trial[Evaluation of low-dose amphotericin B and flucytosine in the treatment of cryptococcal meningitis].
To evaluate the efficacy and safety of low-dose amphotericin B (< 0.7 mg x kg(-1) x d(-1)) and flucytosine in patients with non-AIDS-associated cryptococcal meningitis. ⋯ Low-dose amphotericin B and flucytosine can be used in non-AIDS-associated cryptococcal meningitis with both acceptable efficacy and safety.

Controlled Clinical Trial[Short-term clinical outcome of modified expansive open-door cervical laminoplasty preserving posterior extensor musculature inserted into C2 and C7 spinous process].
To assess the effect of modified cervical expansive open-door laminoplasty preserving the posterior extensor musculature inserted into the C2 and C7 spinous process upon maintaining the cervical lordotic alignment and axial syndrome and to determine whether preserving the posterior extensor musculature inserted into C2 and C7 spinous process can reduce the complications. ⋯ Preventing muscle injuries in cervical laminoplasty can reduce the incidence of complications. The modified expansive open-door cervical laminoplasty preserving the posterior extensor musculature inserted into C2 and C7 spinous process can protect cervical posterior extensor musculature. This is helpful to maintain the cervical lordotic alignment and reduce the incidence of post-operative axial syndrome.

[Clinical experience with adults receiving extracorporeal membrane oxygenation for cardiogenic shock and quality of life in survivals].
To review the experience with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) in adult postcardiotomy cardiogenic shock and evaluate quality of life (QOL) in survivals. ⋯ ECMO offers sufficient cardiopulmonary support in adults. Early indication, reduced complication could improve results with increasing experience. However, ECMO survivors had lower physical and mental health that need to be recovered.
