We performed color Doppler sonographic examination on 4 patients, 3 of whom had preliminary diagnoses of penile fracture and 1 of whom had undergone an operation due to penile fracture a year previously. Color Doppler sonography helped evaluate the relationships between the hematoma and the vascular structures and aided in differential diagnosis of the vascular injuries that may accompany tunical rupture (or have similar clinical presentations) and Mondor's disease; thus, this method has a crucial role in choosing the treatment approach. Color Doppler sonography may also assist in the follow-up of patients after surgical or conservative treatment.

Multiseptate gallbladder is a rare congenital malformation of the gallbladder. In some cases, right upper quadrant pain, recurrent abdominal pain, and gallstones were present. We present the sonographic findings in a case of multiseptate gallbladder with acute cholecystitis, which (to our knowledge) has not been reported before. We hypothesize that bile sludge accumulated and subsequent cholecystitis developed as a result of bile stasis in our case because the classic predisposing factors that have been described were absent.

Anomalous origin of the right vertebral artery from the right common carotid artery occurs rarely. To the best of our knowledge, the medical literature contains no information about gray-scale and Doppler sonography findings in this anomaly, despite the extensive information available from angiographic studies and postmortem examinations. We present the case of a 32-year-old man who suffered from a sudden onset of hemiparesis on the left side. ⋯ The right vertebral artery was shown to originate from the proximal part of the right common carotid artery. The right vertebral artery was patent. Thus, the use of color Doppler sonography can aid in the diagnosis of some vascular anomalies.

Case Reports
Sonographic and computed tomographic demonstration of hydatid cysts communicating with the biliary tree.
Hepatic hydatid disease is usually silent and discovered incidentally. Rupture of a hydatid cyst into the biliary tree is a serious complication and produces a clinical picture of biliary obstruction. We present the cases of 2 patients who had only nonspecific symptoms and laboratory test results indicative of biliary tract obstruction. ⋯ Both cases were surgically confirmed. Demonstration of the cyst and intrabiliary hydatid contents should form the basis for the diagnosis of a hydatid cyst's rupture into the biliary tree; detecting the point of communication further supports the diagnosis. An accurate preoperative diagnosis of this disease is essential for its prompt surgical management.

Case Reports
Sonographic detection of an isolated cuboid bone fracture not visualized on plain radiographs.
We report the case of an isolated cuboid bone fracture in a child that was missed on radiography but was diagnosed on sonography. Plain radiographs of the patient's right foot showed no fracture, whereas sonograms demonstrated a fracture of the cuboid bone that appeared as a steplike discontinuity in the cortical bone. The diagnosis was confirmed on MRI. ⋯ Other imaging modalities are usually advocated for diagnosing fractures that are missed by radiography. Over the last decade, sonography has been increasingly used for diagnosing occult fractures. Although its use in such cases is not yet fully established, we believe that in the future, the sonographic detection of an injury that corresponds to the site of the reported pain will be adequate for initiating treatment of many types of fractures.
