[Comments and suggestions on the medical device standardization system from the view point of medical devices test].
Medical device test is a very important step of medical device registration processes and is also a procedure to confirm whether the medical devices comply with applicable standards. The standardization system is imperfect yet in China due to the complexity of medical devices and the specialty of medical device industry. In this circumstance, the medical device standard is not only the important criteria for the medical devices registration, but also an important practical procedure of the medical device registration. This paper reviews the existing questions and also gives some comments and suggestions on the medical device standardization system from the view point of medical device test.

[Research and analysis of failure data of contemporary artificial joint registration system].
This paper is aimed to focus on the joint prosthesis failure event, to collect the statistic data about the failure of artificial joints issued by authoritative organizations at home and aboard, and to compare the functions of different types of the artificial joints. We generalized and compared current study analyzing the failure reason and type of joint prosthesis, and categorized the failure events according to the failure occurring time, i. e. short-term, medium-term and long-term. This paper could be helpful for improving and summarizing of artificial joint replacement surgery, and could put forward the requirements for the future artificial joints.

[Analysis of rhythm features of EEG for driving fatigue].
With extracting separately delta, theta, alpha and beta rhythms of electroencephalogram (EEG), we studied the characters of EEG for fatigued drivers by analyzing relative power spectrum, power spectral entropy and brain electrical activity mapping. The experimental results showed that with the average relative power spectrum in delta and theta rhythms of EEG increasing, the average relative power spectrum in alpha and beta rhythms decreased, while the average relative power spectrum in delta, theta and alpha rhythms increased in deep fatigue. The average power spectral entropy of EEG decreases with the increasing fatigue level. The average relative power spectrum and the average power spectral entropy of EEG could be expected to serve as the index for detecting fatigue level of drivers.

[Studies on personalized porous titanium implant fabricated using three-dimensional printing forming technique].
Three-dimensional printing (3DP) forming technology can shape personalized porous implant material with complex shape and fine structure to meet the various needs of different patients. In this paper, the green parts of porous titanium implants with diameter 25 mm x 20 mm were prepared using 3DP, and then debinded at 500 degrees C under vacuum. Finally they were sintered in the argon gas at 1 300 degrees C. ⋯ The results of porosity, bulk density, Vickers hardness, compressive strength and elastic modulus were (44.26% +/- 2.43)%, (2.59 +/- 0.81)g/cm3, 134.2-151.6 (61.2 +/- 3.2) MPa, (3.25 +/- 1.08) GPa, respectively. That shows excellent biomechanical compatibility. It is concluded that 3DP has wide application for fabrication of personalized porous titanium implant.

[The effect of anesthetic concentration on burst-suppression of the EEG in rats].
The term "burst-suppression" is used to describe the electroencephalogram (EEG) pattern characterized by theta or delta waves, at times intermixed with faster waves, and intervening periods of relative quiescence. Burst-suppression pattern can reflect the seriously suppressed brain activity under deep anesthesia. ⋯ The result also showed that the composition of carrier gas (i. e. pure oxygen vs. mixed oxygen) did not influence the effect of anesthesia significantly; and the four indexes of burst-suppression features could keep relatively stable within 60 min under the isoflurane concentration of 2%. The present study provides quantitative information of burst-suppression features under different anesthetic depth and may help to develop a clinically satisfied system that could quantify the characteristics of EEG and rigorously evaluate the cerebral state of patients.
