[Compliance with the measures of restrict the residential use of firewood in Valdivia, Chile].
Atmospheric pollution is a problem that causes great concern and health risks for the population and the earth, as it affects developed countries and third world countries. Locally, there are no studies that prove the fulfillment level of the restriction about the usage of residential firewood, considering that since 2014 there is a procedure called "The Environmental Decontamination Plan" in Valdivia (PDAV). ⋯ In more than half of the households, the restriction on the use of woodstove is not complied. The lack of knowledge of the population about the PDAV directly influences its compliance, which requires strategies to promote adherence to this program.

[Association between early onset of psychoactive drug use and health risk behaviors in chilean adolescents].
Adolescents are more prone to develop health risk behaviors. Among these, early consumption of psychoactive drugs is relevant. ⋯ Early onset of alcohol and illicit drug consumption and smoking is associated with health risk behaviors in Chilean adolescents.

[Factors associated with inactivity during COVID-19 confinement among Latin American adults].
The confinement caused by the COVID-19 pandemic changed the lifestyles of the population affecting their levels of physical activity. ⋯ These findings provide a sociodemographic and lifestyle profile associated with physical inactivity during the period of confinement in Latin American adults. The results confirm the need to promote healthy lifestyles in the population during periods of confinement.

[A search for secondary causes of osteoporosis or low mineral density in postmenopausal women].
A secondary cause can be found in up to one third of women with osteoporosis, potentially modifying their therapeutic approach. ⋯ A structured evaluation that includes medical history and standardized laboratory study in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis or low BMD, is a valuable tool to identify secondary causes of osteoporosis.

[Analysis of the first 106 telemedicine consultations in a vascular surgery service].
Telemedicine became a relevant means to provide healthcare without face-to-face medical evaluation during the COVID-19 pandemic. ⋯ In the vast majority of consultations, it was possible to achieve a definitive diagnosis, prescribe a treatment and resolve the reason for consultation without the need for a face-to-face medical evaluation.
