The University Hospital Farhat Hached Sousse (Tunisia), has implemented a device-vigilance (DV) system, according to ANCSEP (National Agency of the Sanitary and Environmental Control of Products) guidelines, in order to manage the risk more effectively in hospital and to improve the quality and safety of patient care. In Tunisia the lack of regulation regarding device vigilance is the major obstacle to caregiver vigilance. The objective of this study is to establish the knowledge, attitudes, and clinical practice of University Hospital physicians regarding the implementation of the DV system. ⋯ A lack of information and training in a sensitive field which need to be heavily regulated has been a topic of discussion. The promulgation of regulatory texts is necessary in order to promote MD sector and guarantee the safety of patient and their users.

Cutaneous larva migrans syndrome is a subcutaneous dermatitis caused by hookworms' larvae, originating from animals in parasitic impasse in humans. Transcutaneous infestation is favored by contact with contaminated soil. ⋯ This malformation in the form of a syndactyly, associated with a tumefaction of the foot cause a delay in the standing position. Besides, the fact that the child never wears shoes because of the sick foot is another factor contributing to the patient's infestation by the larvae of the nematode.

Postpartum haemorrhage is the leading cause of maternal morbidity and mortality worldwide. It requires a multidisciplinary approach. Transfusion strategy is essential, playing a key role in maternal prognosis. This study aims to determine FFP/RBC ratio (plasma frais congelé/concentrés de globules rouges; fresh frozen plasma/red blood cells) during the treatment of serious postpartum haemorrhages. ⋯ During tratment transfusion ratio was greater than that indicated in the existing guidelines stating an early and massive administration of FFP with a FFP/RBC ratio ranging between 1/2 and 1/1. Fibrinogen (Fbg) and tranexamic acid should be administered as early as possible. The use of recombinant activated factor VII (rFVIIa) should remain the ultimate treatment option.

Review Case Reports
[Fracture-separation of the medial clavicular epiphysis: about 6 cases and review of the literature].
This study aims to describe the epidemiological characteristics and the different anatomo-clinical entities of the fracture-separation of the medial clavicular epiphysis but also to relate the morphological and functional results of bloody reduction followed by osteosuture using non absorbable thread. Five boys and one girl (mean age 14 years) showed a closed and isolated shoulder girdle trauma. Clinical examination and medical imaging, especially CT scan, allowed the diagnosis of epiphyseal separation and to classify the degree of medial clavicular epiphysiseal ossification indicating the direction of displacement as well as the nature of displacement according to the Salter-Harris classification. ⋯ It can be serious because of the risk of visceral and vascular compression in its posterior form. Tomdensitometry is irreplaceable for an accurate diagnosis. Our preference is for bloody reduction followed by osteosuture using non metallic thread.
