[Gartner's duct cyst. Case report and literature review].
The Gartner's cyst is a remnant of the Wolffian duct, representing 11% of vaginal cysts and is usually small, benign and asymptomatic. We report the case of a Gartner's duct cyst whose size and localization mimicking a pelvic organ prolapse, disease is one of the differential diagnoses.

BAKGROUND: Obstetric hemorrhage is a major cause of maternal morbidity. The increasing number of births via cesarean has increased the incidence of placenta accreta worldwide. As new techniques aimed at reducing maternal mortality and morbidity have emerged with varying results. ⋯ Our modified technique cesarean-hysterectomy for management of placenta accreta has reduced mortality and morbidity in our hospital as well as injuries to nearby organs and hospital stay.
