Tetralogy of Fallot is the most common cyanotic congenital heart disease. Women with this condition may become pregnant, and it is important to detect the disease to prevent cardiovascular complications and to reduce maternal and fetal death. ⋯ It is common for patients with tetralogy of Fallot and pregnancy to suffer a gradual increase in the severity of pulmonary stenosis, with exacerbation of symptoms and increased cyanosis. The long-term prognosis is extremely poor in the absence of correction, with a mortality of 10%.

[Conservative treatment of subcapsular hematoma in preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome: a case report].
Liver hematoma is a rare and serious complication of pregnancy associated with preeclampsia-eclampsia and HELLP syndrome. ⋯ To consider in the diagnosis of preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome the likelihood of liver hematoma as an acute complication; early treatment improves the prognosis.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study
[Clinical efficacy of fluconazole, tinidazole and clindamycin vs fluconazole, tinidazole and azithromycin in the treatment of mixed cervical-vaginal infections, included those caused by Mycoplasma and Chlamydia trachomatis].
In the United States 19 million people acquire a sexually transmitted disease every year. Sexually transmitted diseases impact in gynecological terms because they may cause sterility, infertility and ectopic pregnancy. ⋯ Both treatments showed similar effectiveness against mixed cervical-vaginal infections. Microbiological efficacy was of 96% and 100% in group A and B, respectively, besides, scheme of group B was better tolerated.

May-Thurner syndrome is a clinical condition that results from narrowing of the left common iliac vein lumen due to pressure from the right common iliac artery as it crosses anterior to it. We describe an atypical case of May-Thurner syndrome in a 23-year-old woman that presented only continuous pain in pudendal zone without vascular symptoms. ⋯ Patient was treated with the technique of pudendal nerve blockade by trans-gluteal via. An important reduction in pain of pudendal zone was showed.
