[Problems of inhalation gas mixture conditioning in high-frequency jet apparatuses for mechanical lung ventilation].
The problem of inhalation gas mixture conditioning, an important problem of technological implementation of high-frequency jet apparatuses for mechanical lung ventilation (MLV), is discussed. Methods of heating and humidification of inhaled gas mixture are considered along with conventional methods used in anesthetic MLV apparatuses.

[Anesthesiological systems "Polinarkon-Vita" with microprocessor for artificial lung ventilation apparatuses and monitoring].
The anesthesiological systems Polinarkon-Vita for adults and children are described. These systems were developed at VNIIMP-VITA, Ltd. on the basis of basic model of the anesthesiological system Polinarkon-E-Vita. ⋯ These systems implement monitoring of vitally important functions of patient and parameters of IN and MLV. The anesthesiological systems Polinarkon-Vita are recommended for medical practice and commercially available from VNIIMP-VITA, Ltd. as small lots.

[Perspective in the development and supply of equipment for xenon anesthesia].
Basic trends in development of methods and equipment for xenon-saving anesthesia are discussed. Brief description of specifications of equipment for xenon anesthesia is given. Unique models of domestic medical devices are briefly described together with methods of their adaptation to commercial equipment for anesthesia. Prospects in further upgrade of the equipment for xenon anesthesia are discussed.

The main stages of development of anesthetic and ventilation equipment at VNIIMP-VITA, Ltd., the leading organization in this area of biomedical engineering in Russia, are discussed. Results of collaboration with physicians, researchers, and manufacturers of anesthetic and ventilation equipment are considered. In addition to historical aspects, contemporary problems of development of anesthetic and ventilation equipment at VNIIMP-VITA, Ltd. are reviewed.

Review[Methods for increasing the reliability and noise protection of arterial pressure measurement channel].
Noninvasive measurement of arterial blood pressure is an important function of modem monitoring systems. Presently, most arterial pressure measurement channels implement oscillometric method. ⋯ The main goal of the upgrade to the oscillometric method is to increase the accuracy, reliability, and noise protection of detection of arterial pressure parameters. This work describes a possible approach to improvement of reliability of the oscillographic method based on synchronous detection of several signals (e.g., volume signal, tachosignal and its derivatives with simultaneous correction of signal processing data on the bases of a priori information about signal, and processing adaptation of data processing algorithm to given signal realization).
