ReviewDevelopment of the trauma emergency care system based on the three links theory.
The three links theory applied in trauma emergency care system refers to an integrated system with the three important components of trauma emergency care system, viz. prehospital trauma services, hospital trauma services and critical care services. The development of the trauma emergency care system should be guided by the three links theory so as to set up a practical and highly efficient system: a prompt operating and monitoring transportation system, a smooth and real-time information system, a rational and sustainable system of regulations and contingency plans, and a system for cultivating all-round trauma physicians.

Radiographic and clinical analysis of cementless acetabular fixation in total hip arthroplasty.
To investigate the factors affecting the fixation, loosening and therapeutic effect of cementless acetabular prosthesis through following up the patients with total hip arthroplasty clinically and radiographically. ⋯ In terms of fixation, total hip arthroplasty with cementless acetabular components was successful. Although there is no aseptic loosening and a low incidence of osteolysis at the latest follow-up evaluation, polyethylene wear cannot be avoided and can lead to expansile osteolysis near the cups. This kind of osteolysis usually had no obvious clinical symptoms but it can be diagnosed early on radiographs. So radiographical follow-up for cementless acetabular components is very important.

Comparative StudyComparative study on cerebral injury after open heart surgery in patients with congenital and rheumatic heart disease.
To comparatively study the different effects of open heart surgery on brain tissues of patients with congenital and rheumatic heart disease. ⋯ On-pump heart-beating open heart surgery can cause certain cerebral injury in the patients with CHD or RHD. The injury was more severe and recovered more quickly in the CHD group than in the RHD group.

Case ReportsDouble electrodes simultaneous stimulation and implantation technique in deep brain stimulation.
Posttraumatic tremor is often one of the causes of disability in head injury patients. Usually, pharmacotherapy for this type of tremor is not effective. ⋯ Such therapy has been reported achieving around 80% success rate in the treatment of posttraumatic tremor. These successful results suggest that the application of DBS therapy can be considered as one of the alternative treatments for minimizing the tremor occurring from different pathologies.
