[Adrenocortical carcinoma with intratumoral hemorrhage detected from chest and back pain: a case report].
A 55-year-old man visited our hospital with left chest and back pain. Computed tomography (CT) showed left retroperitoneal tumor, which was 6 cm in diameter with intratumoral hemorrhage. Based on abdominal CT, magnetic resonance imaging and blood tests, preoperative diagnosis was adrenocortical carcinoma. ⋯ He rejected adjuvant therapy with mitotane. Bone and liver metastases were recognized 2 months after operation. The patient died three months after operation because of disease progression.

[Bilateral giant renal angiomyolipoma following hemodialysis in a patient with tuberous sclerosis].
A 49-year-old woman with tuberous sclerosis visited our hospital complaining of left abdominal pain. She had been diagnosed with bilateral renal angiomyolipoma (AML) when she was 32 years old and had been on maintenance hemodialysis since the age of 44. Magnetic resonance imaging showed bilateral giant renal AML and hemorrhage in the AML of the left kidney. ⋯ The resected specimen weighed 3.2 kg. The histological diagnosis was consistent with AML. In addition, the Japanese literature on giant renal AML was reviewed and discussed.

[Localized Fournier's gangrene of the penis: a case report].
Fournier's gangrene is a rare disease with rapidly progressive necrotising fasciitis of the genital, perineal and perianal regions and leads to sepsis and death. We reported a case of localized Fournier's gangrene of the penis. A 23-year-old man suffered an abrasion of the penis during oral sex with a commercial sex worker. ⋯ According to the clinical symptoms and diagnostic imaging by using magnetic resonance imaging, we diagnosed Fournier's gangrene. Immediately, we started broad-spectrum antibacterial chemotherapy and performed debridement. The postoperative course was good and then the open wound was closed with artificial corium and full thickness skin graft to avoid erectile disturbance.

[Case of bladder cancer following adjuvant external beam radiation for prostate cancer].
A 57-year-old male with a history of right renal cell carcinoma was diagnosed with prostate carcinoma associated with a high PSA level (5.2 ng/ml). Histological examination of the resected prostate specimen obtained by radical prostatectomy revealed well differentiated adenocarcinoma, Gleason score 3 + 3, and pT3aN0M0. After six months of observation, an elevation of PSA level was recognized and local recurrence was suspected. ⋯ Seventeen months later, bladder cancer was diagnosed. It had to be treated with pelvic evisceration because of suspicious heavy adhesions due to prior treatments. Histology findings were urothelial carcinoma in situ, G3, and pTisN0M0.

[Regression of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma of the bladder after antibiotic therapy: a case report].
A 69-year-old woman presented with macroscopic hematuria and severe anemia. Cystoscopy revealed flat edematous mucosa with continuous bleeding. Transurethral coagulation and a biopsy of the urinary bladder were performed. ⋯ A urinary tract infection was found and she was treated with antibiotics for 2 weeks. Because of the detection of a Helicobacter pylori (HP) infection in the gastric mucosal biopsy specimens, the patient was subsequently administered HP eradication therapy. Consequently, the lymphoma disappeared and the woman has had no tumor recurrence for the past 25 months.
