[The selection of the surgical approach in the management of fracture and dislocation of lower cervical spine combined spinal cord injury].
To investigate how to select an appropriate surgical approach in the management of fracture and dislocation of lower cervical spine combined spinal cord injury. ⋯ For lower cervical spine fracture and dislocation, an ideal anatomy reduction can be obtained with either anterior or posterior approach surgery. It is important to select a suitable surgical approach according to different types of cervical fracture and dislocation.

[The correlation between preoperative pulmonary function and postoperative pulmonary complications in the surgical treatment of scoliosis].
To evaluate the incidence of immediate postoperative pulmonary complications and their correlation to preoperative pulmonary function tests (PFTs), preoperative pulmonary symptoms and surgical approaches. ⋯ The incidence of postoperative pulmonary complications increases with the deterioration of PFTs. The posterior procedure has a very low incidence of postoperative pulmonary possibility of complications, but a transthoracic procedure increases the complications significantly. Preoperative respiratory symptoms usually predict abnormal results of PFTs but have no correlation with postoperative pulmonary complication.

To evaluate the effectiveness of combined thoracoscopic anterior spinal release and posterior correction for Scheuermann's kyphosis. ⋯ Combined thoracoscopic anterior spinal release and posterior correction is a good method for the treatment of Scheuermann's kyphosis.

[Surgical treatment of 247 cases of Chiari-I malformation complicated with syringomyelia].
To discuss the surgical treatment of chiari-I malformation complicated with syringomyelia. ⋯ Posterior fossa decompression, posterior fossa decompression and incision of the syringomyelia, posterior fossa decompression and resection of the cerebellar tonsils, posterior fossa decompression and incision of the syringomyelia combined with resection of the cerebellar tonsils should be an effective method for treatment of chiari-I malformation complicated with syringomyelia. Surgical treatment may fully ameliorate the clinical syndromes.

Randomized Controlled Trial Clinical Trial[Application of separating brachial plexus block combined with preoperative analgesia by patient controlled intravenous analgesia in tendon repair].
To investigate whether the separating brachial plexus block combined with preoperative analgesia by patient controlled analgesia (PCA) can be applied in tendon repair and postoperative active or passive functional exercise. ⋯ The separating brachial plexus block combined with preoperative analgesia by 2 kinds of PCIA dispensation can be both applied in tendon repair, but the separating effect of brachial plexus block of group B was superior to the group C.
