[Clinical significance of continuous thrombocytopenia in predicting sepsis after severe burn].
To explore the relationship between continuous thrombocytopenia and sepsis in patients with severe burns. ⋯ Duration of thrombocytopenia within PBD 10 is one of the risk factors for sepsis in severely burned patients, which can reflect pathophysiological changes in the body, thus providing predictive value for the occurrence of sepsis.

[Application of pulse contour cardiac output monitoring technique in hemodynamic monitoring in critical patients].
Pulse contour cardiac output (PiCCO) monitoring is a new type of invasive hemodynamic monitoring technology, which is more and more often applied in perioperative period and the patients suffering from multiple injuries, septic shock, and extensive burn. With PiCCO one is able to monitor patients' hemodynamic indexes safely, timely, accurately, and continuously to provide reference for judgment of patients' condition and proper quality and quantity of fluid administration. This technique has a good prospect in clinical application.

Comparative Study[Effects of two kinds of lung recruitment maneuvers on the correlated indexes of dogs with severe smoke inhalation injury].
To observe and compare the effects of two kinds of lung recruitment maneuvers, namely sustained inflation (SI) and incremental positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) (IP) on oxygenation, respiratory mechanics, and hemodynamics of dogs with severe smoke inhalation injury. ⋯ Both lung recruitment maneuvers can effectively improve oxygenation and lung compliance of dogs with severe smoke inhalation injury. IP is more effective in improving lung compliance, while SI shows less impact on the hemodynamic parameters.

[Effects of reactive by burn rat serum oxygen species on apoptosis of pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells induced].
To observe the level of intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) in rats with severe burn and pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells (PMVECs) treated with serum of rat with burn injury, and to investigate the relationship between ROS and apoptosis of PMVECs. ⋯ Serum content of ROS was increased in severely burned rats. Burn rat serum stimulation on PMVECs can lead to the increase of the intracellular ROS and induce apoptosis. However application of MnTBAP can scavenge ROS and reduce the apoptosis induced by burn rat serum.

[Effects of activating silent information regulator 1 on early myocardial damage in severely burned rats].
To explore the effects of activating silent information regulator 1 (SIRT1) on early myocardial damage in severely burned rats. ⋯ The expression of SIRT1 in heart tissue is upregulated in the early stage of severely burned rats. Activation of SIRT1 by RSV can alleviate myocardial tissue injury and reduce apoptosis of cardiac myocytes and secretion of IL-1β and TNF-α.
