[Prognostic significance of serum procalcitonin in patients with burn sepsis].
To evaluate the clinical implication of serum procalcitonin (PCT) in patients with burn sepsis by analyzing its change. ⋯ Serum PCT value can be served as a vital prognostic indicator for patients with burn sepsis, which can be considered as a guide for rational use of antibiotics, also provide as a reference for treatment, in order to reduce mortality.

[Analysis of respiratory complications in 922 severely burned patients].
To discuss the distribution of the respiratory complications in severely burned patients and the prevention and treatment experience against them. ⋯ Patients with severe burns were at high risk of respiratory complications, among which laryngeal edema was common, followed by pulmonary infection and ARDS. Prophylactic tracheostomy, mechanical ventilation, wound therapy, and anti-infection were all effective measures of prevention and treatment against these complications.

[Effects of blood purification in the treatment of patients with burn sepsis].
To observe the effects of blood purification in the treatment of burn sepsis, in order to provide evidence for its application. ⋯ BP+CT is effective in improving organ function, correcting the disorder of internal environment, and controlling inflammation. Therefore, BP is an important method in the treatment of burn sepsis.

[Role of phosphoinositide 3 kinase/protein kinase B signal pathway in monocyte-endothelial adhesion induced by serum of rats with electrical burn].
To observe the change in phosphoinositide 3-kinase/protein kinase B (PI3K/Akt) signal pathway in monocytes as induced by serum of rats with electrical burn, and to explore the effects of PI3K/Akt pathway on monocyte-endothelial cell adhesion. ⋯ The serum of rats suffering from electrical burn can induce the monocytes to secrete TNF-α, thus enhancing monocyte-endothelial cell adhesion, but it can be inhibited by blocking PI3K/Akt signal pathway.

[Effects of recombinant human granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor on wound healing and microRNA expression in diabetic rats].
To investigate the effects of recombinant human granulocyte macrophage colony-stimulating factor (rhGM-CSF) on wound healing and microRNA expression in diabetic rats. ⋯ The rhGM-CSF gel can promote wound healing in diabetic rats, producing significant differential microRNA expression in wounds, and they may be the target at gene post-transcriptional level of rhGM-CSF gel in promoting wound healing.
