[Clinical significance of the predominant bacterial strains on burn wound during early postburn stage].
To investigate the clinical significance of the predominant bacterial colonization on burn wound in our department during recent years, so as to help select optimal antibiotics in burn patients with severe infections. ⋯ The results suggested that Staphylococcus with negative coagulase and S. aureus were the predominant bacteria and Pseudomonas aeruginosa ranked second. The resistance of these bacteria to antibiotics was on the increase. Moreover, colonization of enterococcus and fungi on burn wound increased recently, which were scarce before. This implied the importance of rational and correct use of antibiotics during early postburn stage.

Randomized Controlled Trial Clinical Trial[The application of tourniquet in burn patients during tangential excision on the extremities].
To investigate the application of tourniquet in burn patients during tangential excision on the extremities. ⋯ Continuous tourniquet application during tangential excision on the extremities in burn patients was proved to be effective in reducing operational blood loss, blood transfusion and in shortening operation time.

[A preliminary exploration of fluid resuscitation during the shock stage of mass burn patients].
To explore the effects of fluid resuscitation during the shock stage of mass burn patients. ⋯ The approaching of medical personnel to the site might be the guarantee of correct and timely fluid resuscitation during shock stage, which could be effective on the prevention of burn shock development.

[Histological observation of the effects of tangential excision within twenty-four postburn hours on the progressive injury of the progression of deep partial thickness burn wound].
To evaluate the effects of early tangential excision on the prevention of the progression of deep partial thickness burn wound. ⋯ It might be beneficial to the host to perform tangential excision within 24 PBHs, which could remove burn wound necrotic tissue in time and hamper the progression of tissue degenerative injury. The healing process of deep partial thickness burn wound was therefore accelerated.
