[Interactive dynamic scalp acupuncture combined with occupational therapy for upper limb motor impairment in stroke: a randomized controlled trial].
To compare the clinical efficacy on upper limb motor impairment in stroke between the interactive dynamic scalp acupuncture therapy and the traditional scalp acupuncture therapy. ⋯ For the patients of IV to V grade in Brunnstrom scale in stroke, the interactive dynamic scalp acupuncture therapy achieves the superior improvements of the upper limb motor function and the activity of daily life as compared with the traditional scalp acupuncture therapy, and the longer the treatment lasts, the more apparent the improvements are. For the patients of III grade in Brunnstrom scale, the interactive dynamic scalp acupuncture therapy achieves the similar improvement in the upper limb motor impairment as compared with the traditional scalp acupuncture therapy.

Based on entire literature retrieval about low back pain treated with acupuncture and moxibustion, Clinical Practice Guideline for Low Back Pain Treated with Acupuncture and Moxibustion was drafted according to method of evidence quality and recommended intensity grading system(GRADE). This article specificly introduces the aim and available diseases of the guideline. The principle and recommended plans are also detailedly explained.

"Conducting yang from yin, and conducting yin from yang" is the essential principle of acupuncture and moxibustion in treatment of diseases, originated from Neijing (Internal Classic). In clinical, yin and yang are not just limited as the natures of meridians and zangfu organs, but also refer to the locations of acupoints, such as the upper and the lower, the left and the right, the anterior and the posterior, the exterior and the interior. Besides, they include the time of acupuncture, such as four seasons and midnight-midday ebb flow, and the manipulation of acupuncture, etc. The ultimate goal of acupuncture is to regulate yin and yang.

[Impacts of the transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation on EC50 in the remifentanil inhibition of tracheal intubation response].
To explore the impacts on EC50 in the remifentanil inhibition of tracheal intubation response by the transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation (TEAS) at Hegu (LI 4) and Neiguan (PC 6). ⋯ TEAS apparently reduces EChe in the remifentanil inhibition of tracheal intubation response by around 17%as.

To explore the effects of acupuncture with different filiform needles on structure of fascial connective tissues, cellular activity, arrangement and content of collagen fibers in acupoint area of rats. ⋯ Acupuncture with different filiform needles can change the local tissue morphology of acupoints, strengthen cell activity and adjust the exyression of collagenous fiber protein, which may be one of the cellular biomechanics principles of the acupuncture therapy's "regulating meridians" effects. However, the stimulation is produced by different fifiform needles, and the complex relationships exist between cells and collagen fibers.
