To study the regulating effect of thyroid pathway on electroacupuncture (EA) for mammary gland hyperplasia (MGH) so as to provide new research ideas for the mechanism of EA for MGH and to provide the evidence for clinical application. ⋯ The effect of EA for MGH may be closely related to the regulation of thyroid.

To observe the effects of electroacupuncture (EA) on the circadian rhythm and suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) epigenetic modification in mice with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and to explore the epigenetics mechanism of EA on circadian rhythm in patients with HCC. ⋯ EA has benign regulation on circadian rhythm of HCC mice, and achieves the best efficacy at ZT 8. EA at ZT 8 could down-regulate the overexpression of epigenetic-related genes.

To explore the effects of electroacupuncture (EA) at "Zhongliao" (BL 33) and "Tianshu" (ST 25) on ovarian function in rats with premature ovarian insufficiency (POI). ⋯ EA at "Zhongliao" (BL 33) and "Tianshu" (ST 25) has improvement effect on ovarian function in rats with VCD-induced POI, which is likely to be related to regulating the IGF-1R mRNA expression to improve the IGF-1/ IGF-1R axis.

[Early acupuncture for traumatic intracerebral hematoma: a randomized controlled trial].
To observe the effect of early acupuncture intervention on brain edema in patients with traumatic intracerebral hematoma and explore its mechanism on the basis of conventional western medicine. ⋯ On the basis of conventional western medicine, early acupuncture can reduce cerebral edema and improve the prognosis of patients, and acupuncture combined with medicine are superior to western medicine alone. Acupuncture mechanism may be related to reducing the expression of inflammatory response.

To observe the regional homogeneity (ReHo) of resting-state brain function in the healthy subjects of gastric distention treated with acupuncture at the back-shu and front-mu points of the stomach, Weishu (BL 21) and Zhongwan (CV 12) and the correlation with gastric motility so as to explore the mechanism on the central integration of the front-mu and back-shu points of the stomach. ⋯ Acupuncture at the combined back-shu and front-mu points of the stomach, as well as acupuncture at single Weishu (BL 21) and Zhongwan (CV 12) induce the ReHo changes in the different brain regions. Acupuncture at the combined back-shu and front-mu points of the stomach may induce the ReHo changes in some new brain regions as compared with the acupuncture at the single point. The thalamus, the posterior cingulate gyrus and the precuneus may be the the important integrated brain regions for acupuncture at the back-shu and the front-mu points in regulating the gastric motility. The effects of acupuncture at the back-shu and the front-mu points for the regulation of the gastric motility are closely related to the thalamus, the limbic system and the default network of the brain regions.
