Characteristics and Treatment Outcomes of Transition among Patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
This study aimed to assess disease characteristics and outcomes of transition in patient care among adolescent patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). ⋯ The transition IBD group had more severe disease. Medical non-compliance was lower in the transition IBD group. Clinical outcomes improved after transition.

Intramuscular Neural Distribution of Adductor Pollicis Muscle Spasticity in Cadaver Model Regarding Botulinum Neurotoxin Treatment.
The adductor pollicis muscle is frequently targeted for botulinum neurotoxin injective treatment for spasticity. However, there are no injective guidelines for delivering injection to the muscle. ⋯ The result suggests that botulinum neurotoxin should be delivered at the middle of second metacarpal bone via deep injection.

A Radiomics-Based Model for Potentially More Accurate Identification of Subtypes of Breast Cancer Brain Metastases.
Breast cancer brain metastases (BCBM) may involve subtypes that differ from the primary breast cancer lesion. This study aimed to develop a radiomics-based model that utilizes preoperative brain MRI for multiclass classification of BCBM subtypes and to investigate whether the model offers better prediction accuracy than the assumption that primary lesions and their BCBMs would be of the same subtype (non-conversion model) in an external validation set. ⋯ Our radiomics-based model represents an incremental advance in the classification of BCBM subtypes, thereby facilitating a more appropriate personalized therapy.

Monitoring the Outcomes of Systemic Chemotherapy Including Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor for HER2-Positive Metastatic Gastric Cancer by Liquid Biopsy.
For precision medicine, exploration and monitoring of molecular biomarkers are essential. However, in advanced gastric cancer (GC) with visceral lesions, an invasive procedure cannot be performed repeatedly for the follow-up of molecular biomarkers. ⋯ Our data indicate that the serial genetic alteration profiling of ctDNA is feasible to predict treatment response in HER2-positive GC patients in a minimally invasive manner. Practically, ctDNA profiles are useful not only for the molecular diagnosis of GC but also for the selection of GC patients with poor prognosis for systemic treatment (ClinicalTrials.gov identifier: NCT02901301).

Effect of Active Surgical Co-Management by Medical Hospitalists in Urology Inpatient Care: A Retrospective Cohort Study.
This study aimed to evaluate the use of active surgical co-management (SCM) by medical hospitalists for urology inpatient care. ⋯ Active surveillance and co-management of urology inpatients by medical hospitalists can improve the quality and efficacy of inpatient care without compromising subjective inpatient satisfaction.
