Meta AnalysisThe Effect of Denosumab and Risk Factors for Recurrence in Spinal Giant Cell Tumors: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.
Giant cell tumors (GCTs) are common benign primary bone tumors and are well known for their locally aggressive performance and tendency to recur. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of denosumab and risk factors for recurrent spinal GCTs. ⋯ Clinicians must consider the effects of gross total resection, radiotherapy use, and denosumab use in cases of subtotal resection during spinal GCT treatment. So far, many researchers have used denosumab in spinal GCT, but none have clearly suggested an endpoint. Most studies, however, recommend using it for more than 6 months.

Randomized Controlled TrialComparison of the Forefoot Pressure-Relieving Effects of Foot Orthoses.
Metatarsal pads are prescribed to decrease forefoot plantar pressure. However, the appropriate metatarsal pad placement location remains a debated issue. We aimed to identify the most effective insole design that reduces forefoot plantar pressure and determine the optimal position for metatarsal pad placement. ⋯ Considering the possibility of discomfort caused by improper metatarsal pad placement, the SP that increases shock absorption may be more clinically useful.

A Radiomics-Based Model with the Potential to Differentiate Growth Hormone Deficiency and Idiopathic Short Stature on Sella MRI.
We hypothesized that a radiomics approach could be employed to classify children with growth hormone deficiency (GHD) and idiopathic short stature (ISS) on sella magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Accordingly, we aimed to develop a radiomics prediction model for differentiating GHD from ISS and to evaluate the diagnostic performance thereof. ⋯ Radiomic analysis of sella MRI may be able to differentiate between GHD and ISS in clinical practice for short-statured children.

Effect of Dapagliflozin in Combination with Lobeglitazone and Metformin in Korean Patients with Type 2 Diabetes in Real-World Clinical Practice.
This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and tolerability of dapagliflozin as an add-on or a switch therapy to lobeglitazone plus metformin (MFM) in Korean patients with inadequately controlled type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) in real-world clinical practice. ⋯ Dapagliflozin, as an add-on or a switch therapy to lobeglitazone plus MFM, can be a suitable alternative for Korean patients with inadequately controlled T2DM. The combination therapy resulted in significant reductions in HbA1c levels, body weight, and blood pressure.

Axial Length as a Risk Factor for Steroid-Induced Ocular Hypertension.
In this study, we aimed to assess whether axial length (AXL) is a true risk factor for steroid-induced ocular hypertension (OHT). We hypothesized that the proportion of patients with steroid-induced OHT among individuals who have received intravitreal dexamethasone (DEX) injections would differ according to the AXL of their eyes. ⋯ Our findings indicate that a long AXL is a risk factor for steroid-induced OHT. Further, clinicians should be aware of steroid-induced OHT when treating patients with high myopia with steroids.
