Role of NEAT1/MiR-9-5p/SLC26A2 Pathway on Human Airway Smooth Muscle Cell.
Asthma is a serious inflammatory disease of the respiratory system in which airway smooth muscle cells (ASMCs) play a key role. This study aimed to investigate the expression of SLC26A2 in human ASMCs (HASMCs) and the regulatory mechanism of SLC26A2 in the proliferation and inflammatory factor production of HASMCs. ⋯ These findings indicate that NEAT1-mediated miR-9-5p targeting of SLC26A2 inhibits the PDGF-induced proliferation and production of inflammatory factors in HASMCs. These findings highlight potential therapeutic targets for asthma and airway inflammation.

Knot-Tying versus Knotless Suture Anchors for Arthroscopic Bankart Repair: A Comparative Study.
This study aimed to compare the results of using knotless and knot-tying suture anchors in arthroscopic Bankart repair. ⋯ Re-dislocation rates and clinical scores were similar with the use of knotless and knot-tying suture anchors in arthroscopic Bankart repair after a minimal 2 year follow-up.

Correlation between Metal Ions and Cytokines in the Saliva of Patients with Oral Lichenoid Lesions.
We aimed to investigate the effect of metal ions from oral prostheses (OPs) released into the saliva of patients with oral lichenoid lesions (OLLs). ⋯ Increased concentrations of metal ions, especially Ni, in saliva were positively correlated with IL-8 and showed positive correlations with the severity of OLL.

Appropriate Antigen Concentrations and Timing of a Nasal Provocation Test.
We aimed to determine appropriate antigen concentrations and the right time to evaluate intranasal changes when performing a nasal provocation test (NPT). Also, we sought to analyze the diagnostic usefulness of individual nasal symptom and peak nasal inspiratory flow (PNIF). ⋯ We could determine the optimal concentration (100 AU/mL), timing (15 minutes after challenge), and parameters (changes in TNSS and PNIF%) when performing NPT.

Effectiveness of Hepatocellular Carcinoma Surveillance and an Optimal Surveillance Interval: Nationwide Cohort of Korea.
To assess associations between surveillance intervals in a national hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) surveillance program and receiving curative treatment and mortality using nationwide cohort data for Korea. ⋯ HCC surveillance, especially at a surveillance interval of 6 months, increases the chance to receive curative therapy.
