[Intrapartum asphyxia: Risk factors and short-term consequences].
Intrapartum asphyxia is a rare yet serious complication during labor with immediate consequences and possible long-term neurological impairment. The international Cerebral Palsy Task Force established criteria that attribute a cerebral palsy to intrapartum asphyxia: metabolic acidemia measured at birth with pH<7 and base deficit≥12mmol/L. ⋯ Our results showed an intrapartum asphyxia rate half the one widely recorded of 0.5% of total live births. Our study also validates the commonly used markers to evaluate a high risk of an early neonatal encephalopathy. This study should be continued with the evaluation of hypoxia long-term consequences on the psychomotor development of these kids and especially the occurring of cerebral palsy.

A Zika virus epidemic is currently ongoing in the Americas. This virus is linked to congenital infections with potential severe neurodevelopmental dysfunction. ⋯ Declaration of Zika virus infection is now mandatory in France. Given the available knowledge on Zika virus, we suggest here a review of the current recommendations for management of pregnancy in case of suspicious or infection by Zika virus in a pregnant woman.

Case Reports[Uterine rupture plugged by omentum in a rudimentary horn pregnancy: About a rare case].
Pregnancy in a rudimentary horn of a pseudo-horned uterus is a rare obstetrical situation, for which, maternal-fetal prognosis is altered by the risk of uterine rupture. We report a rare case of pregnancy in a rudimentary horn with birth of a living child at 28 weeks of amenorrhea. During caesarean, uterine rupture plugged by the omentum was observed. We discuss from this case obstetric management of this pathology.

Comparative Study[Accuracy of placenta accreta prenatal diagnosis by ultrasound and MRI in a high-risk population].
Main objective was to compare accuracy of ultrasonography and MRI for antenatal diagnosis of placenta accreta. Secondary objectives were to specify the most common sonographic and RMI signs associated with diagnosis of placenta accreta. ⋯ Ultrasonography and RMI represent two interesting and complementary diagnostic tools for antenatal diagnosis of placenta accreta. Because of its cost and accessibility, ultrasonography remains the first in line to be used for diagnosis. Use of an analytical grid for diagnosis of placenta accreta could be helpful.
