A case of 41 year man with Kartagener's syndrome presenting incomplete clinical symptoms of disease was described. Diagnosis was established by electron microscopy analysis of nasal mucous membrane cilia biopsy. Ultrastructurally the complete lack of dynein arms was found.

Long lasting recurrent pneumonia in 13-year-old girl was been described. The main cause was the foreign body (pawn of plastic) covered in intermediate bronchus. Bronchoscopy revealed scars in type of "bridges" narrowing intermediate bronchus. The foreign body and the scar changes were removed.

In the paper the possibilities of therapeutic use of capsaicin are presented. This drug seems to be very effective in neuralgia after zoster, and less effective in painful diabetic neuropathy. Attempts are also undertaken at its use in cluster headache, trigeminal neuralgia and arthralgia. Confirmation of the effectiveness of the discussed drug in these pain syndromes requires further studies.

[Aneurysm of the abdominal aorta complicated with a fistula into the inferior caval vein].
The results of treatment are presented in three patients with a fistula between the lumen of abdominal aorta aneurysm and the inferior caval vein. Surgical operation was successful in two patients, and one patient with large fistula, operated on as urgent case, died. The results of treatment of this rare complication are influenced by: fistular dimensions, volume of blood lost during operation and good cooperation between surgical and anaesthesiological teams.
