Case Reports[Technical modification of total cavo-pulmonary connection].
A variation of total cavopulmonary connection without anastomosing the superior vena cava to the right pulmonary artery branch is presented. Both vena cava flow go through an intra atrial tunnel to the right atrial appendage, which is anastomosed to the right pulmonary artery, in anatomical eligible cases.

Case Reports[Electrocardiographic changes in accidental hypothermia].
Electrocardiographic alterations were evaluated in a group of accidental hypothermia patients, and correlated with values of core temperature, pH and plasmatic concentrations of Na+, K+ and Cl-. ⋯ Hypothermia produces electrocardiographic abnormalities characterized by Osborn waves. Other minor findings include sinus bradycardia, idioventricular rhythm and long QT intervals.

Case Reports[Dissection in an adult with dilatation of the ascendent aorta diagnosed in childhood].
Dilatation of the ascending aorta is relatively infrequent during childhood. Besides the Marfan syndrome, the congenital origin should be considered. We report a patient with dilatation of the ascending aorta diagnosed at the age of 10 who presented acute aortic dissection and rupture after a 13-year period of follow-up. Several aspects of the proper diagnosis are discussed.

Case Reports[Coronary-cavitary fistula after resection of vascularized left atrial myxoma].
A 52-year-old man with left atrial myxoma, in whom postoperative angiographic control revealed a coronary-cavitary fistula originated from a previous atrial branch from the circumflex coronary artery. These fistulas should be considered in cases of revascularized atrial myxoma.

A 16-year-old patient was evaluated for congestive heart failure and pulmonary hypertension, suggesting mitral valve stenosis. A left atrial membrane with a 4 mm orifice was seen in echocardiography and angiography, and a diagnosis of cor triatriatum was made. The membrane was successfully removed by surgery.
