[Reduction of traumatic dislocation of the shoulder. For a gentler approach....].
Early traumatic anterior dislocation of the shoulder may be reduced very easily using a method combining gentle traction along the axis of the arm, slow external rotation and outwards pressure on the humeral head with the patient seated. This gentle method does not require sedation or analgesia.

Case Reports[Acute distension followed by gastric rupture after an episode of bulimia. Apropos of a case].
The authors report a case of spontaneous gastric rupture due to acute distension following an episode of bulimia. A two stage surgical procedure was performed with a favorable outcome. The difficulty in the choice of therapy was confirmed in a review of the literature. A minor surgical intervention involving a lesser degree of trauma may be chosen, and after appropriate resuscitation, definitive surgery can be planned.

Case Reports[Hypothenar aneurysm of the ulnar artery. Apropos of a case treated by excision and anastomosis].
A case of aneurysm of the ulnar artery, located in the region of the hypothenar eminence is reported. This true traumatic aneurysm had a reconstructive treatment, considering the arterial anatomy of the patient's hand. A resection followed by an end to end anastomosis has been done with a good post-operative result at two years and a half. ⋯ The diagnosis of aneurysm is primarily clinical. Arteriography is interesting in the preoperative check-up. Reconstructive surgery is now preferred.

Endosonography consists of exploring the gastrointestinal wall and surrounding tissue with the aid of an ultrasound transducer introduced into the gastrointestinal lumen. High frequency ultrasound (more than 7 MHz) is used and provides high definition imaging. Its principal role is in oncology, and more particularly in the assessment of tumor extension. ⋯ Endosonography provides better analysis of lymph nodes than CT scan (70 to 75% precision) and improvements will occur with better description of the criteria of malignancy. It appears interesting for the evaluation of pancreatic and biliary tumors and for follow-up of patients already treated for gastrointestinal cancer. Among its other indications, some have been well established (gastrointestinal submucosal tumors, giant gastropathy) and others require confirmation (villous tumors of the rectum, gastric ulcer).

Case Reports[Cutaneous burns caused by Yperite. Apropos of 2 new cases].
Based on two of their own cases, the authors review the lesions produced by Yperite. This chemical agent produces cutaneous burns which are quite characteristic; histological study of biopsies carried out on cutaneous lesions was used to define the effects on the epidermis and dermis. The treatment of patients, with this rare condition, remains symptomatic.
