To compare the accuracy of 68 gallium prostate-specific membrane antigen positron emission tomography/computed tomography (68 Ga-PSMA PET/CT) with multiparametric MRI (mpMRI) in detecting and localising primary prostate cancer when compared with radical prostatectomy (RP) specimen pathology. ⋯ We found no significant difference in the detection or localisation of primary prostate cancer between 68 Ga-PSMA PET/CT and mpMRI. Further prospective studies are required to evaluate a combined PET/MRI model in minimising tumours missed by either modality.

To discuss the impact of COVID-19 on global health, particularly on urological practice and to review some of the available recommendations reported in the literature. ⋯ Over the coming weeks, healthcare workers including urologists will be facing increasingly difficult challenges, and consequently, they should adopt triage strategy to avoid wasting of medical resources and they should endorse sufficient protection policies to guard against infection when dealing with COVID-19 patients.

It has been suggested that, in comparison with open radical cystectomy (ORC), robot-assisted radical cystectomy (RARC) results in less blood loss, shorter convalescence and fewer complications, with equivalent short-term oncological and functional outcomes; however, uncertainty remains as to the magnitude of these benefits. ⋯ We conclude that RARC and ORC may have similar outcomes with regard to time to recurrence, rates of major complications, quality of life, and positive surgical margin rates (all low-certainty evidence). We are very uncertain whether the robotic approach reduces rates of minor complications (very-low-certainty evidence), although it probably reduces the risk of blood transfusions substantially (moderate-certainty evidence) and may reduce hospital stay slightly (low-certainty evidence). We were unable to conduct any of the preplanned subgroup analyses to assess the impact of patient age, pathological stage, body habitus, or surgeon expertise on outcomes. This review did not address issues of cost-effectiveness.

To examine the anatomical distribution of prostate cancer (PCa) recurrence on gallium-68 prostate-specific membrane antigen (68 Ga-PSMA) positron-emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) in patients with biochemical recurrence (BCR) after undergoing radical prostatectomy (RP) with pathological lymph node metastasis (pN1) in their extended pelvic lymph node dissection (ePLND), and to compare the location of PCa recurrence with the location of the initial lymph node metastasis at ePLND. ⋯ Recurrence of PCa on 68 Ga-PSMA PET/CT was limited to the pelvis in the majority of patients with BCR after RP with pN1 ePLND. Moreover, recurrence was often detected on the same side as the lymph node metastasis at ePLND. The results confirm the diagnostic value of 68 Ga-PSMA PET/CT in patients with BCR after RP with pN1 ePLND. Prospective studies are needed to support the long-term benefit of 68 Ga-PSMA PET/CT-dictated management changes.
