[Design and implementation of EMR information system in hospitals].
With the electronic medical records information system as the core of hospital information platform design, this paper introduces the design of the system which is structured for electronic medical records, and the advantage and effectiveness is also introduced. From the aspects of the concept, system framework, data integration, right frame and safety control, identity index and a clinical pathway, etc, the paper introduces the basic idea and process of the hospital information platform design, with the hospital recording electronic medical records as the core.

Comparative Study[Comparison of domestic and international standards for orthopedic implants].
A great deal of comparisons on domestic standards for Orthopedic implants with ISO and ASTM standards have been presented, and some conclusions have been drawn: Domestic standards for orthopedic implants coincide with ISO and ASTM standards in the items of materials, geometry and classification. There are much bigger differences in some key performances of implants such as assembly, fatigue, wear and tear and so on. Some constructive ways have been suggested.

[An instantaneous blood pressure measuring system at the wrist based on the volume-compensation method].
An instantaneous blood pressure measuring system at the wrist based on the volume-compensation method is developed, and the characteristics and accuracy of the system is evaluated. The radial artery at the wrist is used as the detecting object, and a pad-type cuff as well as a newly designed electro- pneumatic converter is used in the system. Also, the comparative experiments between the system and the invasive blood measuring device (direct method) indicated that, the results obtained from the two methods are well correlated not only in rest condition, but also in a stressful condition. Therefore, the system is capable of non-invasive measuring instantaneous blood pressure in the radial artery.

[Methods of extracting AEP for monitoring the anesthetic depth].
Many researches have proved that auditory evoked potentials (AEP) can indicate the depth of anesthesia in the clinical practice. This paper introduces two methods of extracting AEP: the moving time average (MTA) model and the autoregressive model with exogenous input (ARX). In our study we used both the MTA model and the ARX model to extract AEP and the results show that using the ARX model can get the results significantly faster than using the MTA model, and the ARX model is more suitable for the real-time monitoring of the anesthetic depth.
