[Clinical features and surgery in children with plastic bronchitis].
To review the clinical features and therapeutic experience in children with plastic bronchitis. ⋯ Plastic bronchitis is a severe and dangerous disease. The branching plastic casts may obstruct part or the entire tracheobronchial, causing respiratory failure. Bronchoscopy and pathologic examination are essential for it's diagnosis and treatment.

[Sites of obstruction in obstructive sleep apnea patients and their influencing factors: an overnight study].
To understand how sleep stage and position influence the mechanisms for pharyngeal collapse in different levels of upper airway (UA), overnight state-related changes and postural variation in obstructive sites in obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) patients were studied. ⋯ Upper airway obstruction involves more than one specific site of the upper airway and the oropharynx is the most common collapse site. Obstructive sites are likely to extend to lower levels during REM sleep. Sleep position has little effect on the distribution of obstructive site.

[Preliminary study of intraoperative auditory monitoring techniques in acoustic neuroma surgery].
To investigate the value of intraoperative auditory monitoring techniques in acoustic neuroma surgery. ⋯ In combination with ABR monitoring, ECochG proved to be a useful supplementary tool for hearing preservation in acoustic neurinoma surgery. Drilling of the IAC and tumor removal at the lateral end of the IAC were the most critical steps for achieving hearing preservation. The surgeon's experience are the most significant factors influencing the hearing outcome after removal of acoustic neuroma.

[Treatment and long term follow-up of trigeminal neuralgia by retrogasserian combing].
To research and appraise the method and long-term effects of trigeminal neuralgia by the operation of retrogasserian combing. ⋯ The effect of the operation of retrogasserian combing is sure. This operation was applicable to any case of trigeminal neuralgia, especially to the cases that no vascular compression was found in the operations.
