Case Reports
Extraforaminal Thoracic and Lumbar Spinal Nerve Ultrasound-Guided Percutaneous Peripheral Nerve Stimulation.
Peripheral nerve stimulation provides targeted stimulation and pain relief within a specific nerve distribution. This technical case report provides a method to perform selective nerve root stimulation of thoracic and lumbar spinal nerves using ultrasonography. ⋯ Ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve stimulation procedures may provide a safer method for neurostimulation lead placement when compared with fluoroscopic-guided techniques.

Randomized Controlled Trial
The Effectiveness of Platelet-Rich Plasma and Radial Extracorporeal Shock Wave Compared with Platelet-Rich Plasma in the Treatment of Moderate Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
To evaluate the combination effect of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) for moderate carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), compared with PRP alone. ⋯ Combined PRP and one-session rESWT was not superior to PRP alone in treating moderate CTS. Further studies with multiple sessions of ESWT and longer follow-up periods are needed to verify the clinical efficacy of ESWT.
