Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) has a prevalence of 5.3% among children and adolescents. It is characterized by attention deficit, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. ⋯ The participants complied with clinical guidelines, emphasizing the relevance of diagnostic manuals and treatment guidelines for an eminently clinical situation and enabling uniformity in quality treatment.

Among healthcare professionals, nursing workers are the most prone to becoming victims of workplace violence and present the highest burnout levels. ⋯ Occurrence of violence significantly increased the chances of great emotional exhaustion and depersonalization and low professional achievement, within burnout syndrome. Therefore, workplace violence prevention strategies need to be put in place to provide workers with a safe workplace in which to conduct their activities.

Moonlighting is a largely discussed, however under-explored, subject among physician residents. ⋯ Moonlighting frequency is high, and it is related to higher PGY, briefer residency duty hours, and the perception that remuneration should be higher. This study provides insights into the motivations for moonlighting and effort-reward imbalance.
