Comparative Study Clinical Trial Controlled Clinical Trial[The effect of rehabilitation training on postoperative recovery of children with congenital heart disease].
In this study, seven stages rehabilitation exercise were set up according to the rehabilitation training principles. 83 post-operative congenital heart disease children whose age ranging from 4 approximately 12 years were divided into two groups. The results showed that there was a significant difference between rehabilitation training group and control group in the time of ventilator weaning, intensive care, and mean hospitalization. ⋯ The time of under intensive care and hospitalization were also 2.04 days and 3.24 days shorter respectively. It is suggested that rehabilitation training has a good effect on post-operative children with congenital heart disease.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study Clinical Trial[Study of psychological nursing to ease pain during labor].
100 labouring women were selected in the hospital and divided into psychological support group and control group randomly (50 in each group) in this study. The former was given psychological education and support by special staff and the later was managed in routine methods. The result showed that the serious pain rate of the psychological support group was lower than that of the control group in the first stage of labour (P < 0.01). ⋯ The time of the first stage, the second stage, and total labor course in the psychological support group was shorter than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The normal labor rate of the psychological support group was much higher than that of the control group (P < 0.001). This study indicated that providing psychological support to the parturients may reduce the pain level during delivery and decrease the difficult labor rate.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study Clinical Trial[Continuous infusion of morphine in use of pain relief after upper abdominal surgery].
This study was designed as a prospective randomized comparative trial of continuous infusion of morphine (CIM) controlled by a micro-electric pump and traditional intermitted intramuscle injection of pethidine (IMP) to relieve pain after surgery. 40 patients submitted from upper abdominal surgery were divided into two groups, 20 patient receiving CIM and others using IMP. The amount of morphine used during the 24 hours was 0.5 mg/kg in CIM group. In IMP group, 20 patients were given standard intramuscular dosages of 1.5 mg/kg of pethidine, then, every 4-6 hours repeatedly within 24 hours after operation. ⋯ The result showed that all patients of CIM group had good analgesic effect (I and II degree), however, 10% of the patients in IMP group had only analgesic effect of I and II degree during the first 24 hours after operation. Their respiratory frequency, heart rate, BP and SpO2 had no significant difference in two groups. It woule appear that CIM is an efficacious and safe method for providing postoperative pain relief.
