Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter StudyStereotactic ablative body radiotherapy for primary kidney cancer (TROG 15.03 FASTRACK II): a non-randomised phase 2 trial.
Stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy (SABR) is a novel non-invasive alternative for patients with primary renal cell cancer who do not undergo surgical resection. The FASTRACK II clinical trial investigated the efficacy of SABR for primary renal cell cancer in a phase 2 trial. ⋯ Cancer Australia Priority-driven Collaborative Cancer Research Scheme.

Meta AnalysisSurrogate endpoints in clinical trials of p16-positive squamous cell carcinoma of the oropharynx: an individual patient data meta-analysis.
The increased incidence of human papillomavirus (HPV)-related cancers has motivated efforts to optimise treatment for these patients with excellent prognosis. Validation of surrogates for overall survival could expedite the investigation of new therapies. We sought to evaluate candidate intermediate clinical endpoints in trials assessing definitive treatment of p16-positive oropharyngeal cancer with chemotherapy or radiotherapy. ⋯ NRG Oncology Operations, NRG Oncology SDMC, the National Cancer Institute, Eli Lilly, Aventis, and the University of Michigan.

Meta AnalysisUse of radiotherapy in patients with oesophageal, stomach, colon, rectal, liver, pancreatic, lung, and ovarian cancer: an International Cancer Benchmarking Partnership (ICBP) population-based study.
There is little evidence on variation in radiotherapy use in different countries, although it is a key treatment modality for some patients with cancer. Here we aimed to examine such variation. ⋯ International Cancer Benchmarking Partnership (funded by the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer, Cancer Council Victoria, Cancer Institute New South Wales, Cancer Research UK, Danish Cancer Society, National Cancer Registry Ireland, The Cancer Society of New Zealand, National Health Service England, Norwegian Cancer Society, Public Health Agency Northern Ireland on behalf of the Northern Ireland Cancer Registry, DG Health and Social Care Scottish Government, Western Australia Department of Health, and Public Health Wales NHS Trust).

Multicenter StudyDeep-learning-based reconstruction of undersampled MRI to reduce scan times: a multicentre, retrospective, cohort study.
The extended acquisition times required for MRI limit its availability in resource-constrained settings. Consequently, accelerating MRI by undersampling k-space data, which is necessary to reconstruct an image, has been a long-standing but important challenge. We aimed to develop a deep convolutional neural network (dCNN) optimisation method for MRI reconstruction and to reduce scan times and evaluate its effect on image quality and accuracy of oncological imaging biomarkers. ⋯ Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Research Foundation) and an Else Kröner Clinician Scientist Endowed Professorship by the Else Kröner Fresenius Foundation.

Pivekimab sunirine (IMGN632), a novel CD123-targeting antibody-drug conjugate, in relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukaemia: a phase 1/2 study.
Pivekimab sunirine (IMGN632) is a first-in-class antibody-drug conjugate comprising a high-affinity CD123 antibody, cleavable linker, and novel indolinobenzodiazepine pseudodimer payload. CD123 is overexpressed in several haematological malignancies, including acute myeloid leukaemia. We present clinical data on pivekimab sunirine in relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukaemia. ⋯ ImmunoGen.
